Don't know much about East Montgomery other than a good running back. Reidsville still hasn't given up a rushing TD. West Lincoln had two backs with a thousand yards rushing. I think we gave up a little over a hundred last night. We had no one dinged up last night.

EM RB is big and strong. Against ER they kept pounding him until 4th quarter and had success when defense tired. QB was ok but struggled some with accuracy. EM is really a running team.
I looked at their schedule and results on Maxpreps. Looks like they put points on the board but give up a lot. They also look like good teams beat them or play the close.
Ok good. I think he will be important for next years team and some this year.
if #23 can’t go I say put the Reynolds kid in his spot. Reidsville is pretty deep in the RB position. We definitely need #30 at full strength Friday.
Reynolds is a nice player and all but it is the playoffs time to start giving the best player on the team the ball especially if Canada is hurt that being Blackstock
If Blackstock gets hurt playing RB then we lose him at safety. We have enough depth on offense we don't need to risk that. Especially as an every down back.

This game is a total mismatch on paper. ( just like most if not all of Reidsville's games) The EM team has a ton of heart and will compete the entire time , but I suspect that Reidsville's talent and depth will be hard for EM or anyone else in the West bracket to handle.

Carrboro scored on a 28-yard pass (Carrboro led 8-7 at that point, only time Reidsville has trailed all year)

And we will be the best defense he as seen.
I like it that we are very sporting to teams we are going to play by making sure they know of any injuries we have.

Yea I'm also courious about this game. I felt that EM ran the ball pretty well. Lineman block nice and do a good job of getting to the second level and #2 runs hard. Now ER's defense is not stellar by no means but Cade is a very good LB and he missed a lot of tackles. Now he could have had a bad night OR the RB is that hard to bring down and made his attempts look poor. We will find out fri night tho
EM is healthy...defense has 13 guys thay are tough hard nose and ball swarming but secondary gets caught looking in the backfield to much...offense is McKinney he is tough as they come runs straight ahead looking for the seem toughest defense faced all year was Mount Pleasant and they held him to 164 yards EM will have to at least throw in a jet sweep or 2 to take all the focus of him EM has few other good athletes McCaskill and Brown Jr that can run the ball but no pass threat which ultimately hurts them
