Well this didnt age well, Im an idiot,... Huge win for East and great run for those rams..... They will be back sooner than later

27-26 final ... ER played a great game. Rams couldn't contain the run. Pinkerton 38 carries, 222 yards ... 355 yards rushing for the ER team

Once again a case of the superior head coach not being on the reidsville sideline. Referees and bad kicking ultimately did us in.

Reidsville had a 2-point conversion called back for illegal man downfield and a TD called back on holding in the final quarter.
Rams really missed Jariel Cobb's running in this one. Neal carried team as much as he could but had some costly mistakes.

Biggest upset I can remember. Congrats to ER.
ER took down another #1 seed in the early 2000s….beat Brevard (number one seed)!

If you watched Reidsville defense this year you would know this was bound to happen. No discipline on defense minus Neal at defensive back. He did all he could but not much else he could do. Even with the terrible holding call on last TD this was not that much a shocking result.
Congrats East Rutherford! One of the classiest and most respectful coaching staffs I've met in my 17 years, they deserved that win. Had a great game plan and made Reidsville look awful.

This was an upset but wasn't exactly a big upset, alot of us were saying the west as almost wide open, especially since we didn't know what Monroe had.

Don’t need a game plan. Just run straight and nothing we can do. Better to go ahead and lose now than get slaughtered in a couple weeks. Neal did everything for this team. But with loss of Cobb we didn’t have enough.
Even with Cobb somebody was going to get you this season. ER still might have gotten you.
@tarheel fan1 you may be right, but ER's run defense wasn't allowing much, even negative yards in some games. I'm not sure if Cobb could have run on them much. Maybe the Rams would not have gone down by 21 so fast, but ER's defense shut the passing game down 1st half and their run defense has always been stiff.
Nah we would have gotten past this week and 1 more week. But then it would have been tough.
The holes were wide open tonight. The Rb just didn’t see them. Cobb would have hit his head on the goal post from 60 plus a few times with those holes
