8 pics in 7 games is VERY impressive. He must have an eye for the ball. Some kids just have a knack for finding the ball.
He does. Picked Shelby off twice Friday night. Can lay the wood coming downhill too! If his numbers continue and he doesn't make All State, something is wrong.

If you guys up here know about this guy, then why are these teams acting like they don't know about him? Why in the world is the ball being thrown in his vicinity? I understand showing that you're not afraid, but I'd take being called scared over playing stupid to prove a point any day.
They typically don't throw in his vicinity. Plays safety and reads really well. We live in a no-mans-land pocket between Charlotte news coverage and Asheville coverage. Hope sports writers notice. Great kid and deserves All State.

FWIW he has my vote as an all-state DB....pretty darn good receiver as well...terrific hands.........he would've had more catches if ER QB could find the mark on some of his throws....I'd love him catching the ball from our (Reidsville) QB..................
