East Surry needs a game

East could really benefit here if they go that way. Since it's South Stokes spot and that was the endowment game I can see it going any direction. It would be worth the risk given their talent pool at the moment where 5 years ago when Diamont tried it and it backfired.
East has played a big 3A+ school in endowment before when they played Asheville in 2003 and 2004.
Gonna be interesting seeing all the schools new schedules for sure.

It is my understanding that East is scrimmaging West Montgomery, East Montgomery, and North Stanley in one scrimmage and then going to Lincolnton for the other. Might as well throw Mitchell on the schedule. That way we will see the best the West has to offer from scrimmages through the regular season. All we will be missing is Swain. I have always wished Pilot Mountain and Bryson City weren't so far apart because I would love to see an annual regular season game between our Cardinals and the Maroon Devils. ES will be battle tested for sure!!!
