Very solid on both sides of the ball. Regardless of qb and rb combinations the offense was clicking. In my opinion #34 is the better back but he'll probably play more defense than anything. The defense looks good and nasty. Playing with a chip on their shoulder. We'll see what happens next Friday night when it really matters.

Trust me East Surry...you have no worries next Friday other than how many points you want to put up. EW looks ridiculously suspect on both sides of the ball. Gonna be a loooong season for the Ronda Redbirds...realtalk..didn't realize just how much talent they lost on both sides of the ball.

Expecting big things out of the cards this year, I liked what I saw this summer, I truly think if MA goes big A , we could see a all Northwest regional final, that would be some kinda special for the conference and our area, lotta football to be played but both teams are flat out loaded
I heard EW played like they had stayed in Ronda. EW has talent, do they have any heart. Friday night could be ES by as much as they want.
Yeah they just looked all out of sorts and out of sync. No one ever laid a pad on anyone defensively. I understand it's a new offense. I can understand ironing out the kinks of a totally new scheme offensively....but how bad they looked on defense was definitely a shock. I saw no senior leadership and no desire to get after it defensively. I see East Surry winning by 30+ unless they call off the dogs!!

All the hype is coming from somewhere else. Our men are punching the clock and going to work everyday. That's all they can do. Show up on Friday night and do the job is all is expected. Way to early to even think about the playoffs. One game at a time and then move on to the next. EW is the only thing we're thinking about this week.
