With Clinton having departures of the coaching staff and their best players, who comes out the east ? Also, will they still be the favorite in their conference or will St Pauls become the topic of conversation?

NE, Nash Central and ED. Not sure who the 4th in top 4 would be. That's up for grabs. Clinton won't win their conference. Was already going to be tough even with those players if they had not of left. Wallace I am sure will be fine. Clinton is in rebuild mode and will take a couple of years to bounce back from recent events.

ED/NE. I’ll wait and see about my Bulldogs. Loosing o- line will be tough. Gonna be tough for Clinton
Both Clinton and Wallace lost their o line but Clinton lost more than just o line to graduation and the recent events so Wallace will beat Clinton this year especially with it being a Home game for Wallace

ED, NE, N Nash, SWE, West Craven bringing back most. West Craven will be the most experienced team. They will be loaded with seniors that had a good year last year with a brutal schedule. ED, N Nash looks to be loaded. Clinton, Whiteville, WRH, JK, Hertford Co lost a lot. I do think WRH will be fine, also

I am thinking the same thing. I also wonder how Princeton will be. They gave Northeastern a good battle in the playoffs. Wonder how many they return.

Clinton lost alot, but they still have some recruiting specialists I bet. Let's not rule them out just yet

Would love to have some more size at West Craven.

Can anyone that comes out of the east (or west for that matter) beat Reidsville?
Of course they can but it comes down to coaching. I will probably be attacked for this one but no matter how bad they don’t want to admit it. Clinton had the best team in that game and a team that should have won it. It came down to the coaching. East Duplin won it with a less talented team against Reidsville. So yes the East can win it but it will take the right team and coaching to do it. It is kind of like you can have the right race car to win the race but unless you have the best driver it probably is not going to happen.

Well forgive me. Maybe coaching isn’t the right word for it. Maybe the word I should have used is Gameplan. Which that falls upon the coaching duties but either way I think everyone gets it. No doubt in my mind Clinton had great coaching but their Gameplan was terrible and did not put Clinton in position to win that game.

I know right. Thank God we don’t have to hear 910 All Stars or Clinton “U” anymore. Just play football and be the Dark Horses. They didn’t need a nickname and all that other mess they were calling themselves.
I think WRH head coach gave Clinton the “910 all stars” nickname. It was a funny video to watch, then when Clinton put a running clock on em, their coach walked across the field in the handshake like with a 910 all stars shirt on. Oh the drama that will be gone without that guy, sigh lol.

Just wished they would send Reidsville back east. No disrespect but the East is so weak compared to the west on an annual basis. We need Reidsville to just stay East so the championship game will remain entertaining.

I threatened to petition to send them east if the lost the title again(Click Here for reference), now you want to punish them for winning. Coming from west of Durham, those rides through the enchanted roads and forests can be a challenge to stay awake on. Especially if its a yellow bus and not a charter bus.

You are correct that name was given to them by the Wallace Coach during an interview at the Bash at the Beach and yes the video is still floating around out there. They gave themselves the Clinton “U” nickname but the 910 All Stars was given to them and it did go down as you said. A handshake at end of game with Clinton Coaches shaking Wallace Coach hand wearing 910 All Star t shirts. If only they could have gone into that State Championship game with that same intensity they had and purpose of wanting to beat Wallace. May have seen a different outcome.
