Just seen where the EW and MA game along with the EW and Elkin games are postponed.

MA is good idk if can pick game up once in conf. EW both have by weeks diff times.

From what was posted on EW Athletics fb page yes, the Mt Airy and Elkin games are cancelled.

So the next game East Wilkes plays is after their scheduled ELKIN game?? Just how will this impact the playoffs? Most folks felt like East Wilkes and Mt Airy would represent the conference in the playoffs with MA being the top seed. Does EW now have an advantage over Starmount because they don’t have to play MA???

If you don’t play your conference games it will come into play one way or another….EW right now doesn’t have to worry about 2 games whether they are W or L….almost impossible to make up 2 conference games

Is there a rule within the NCHSAA that dictates how many games can be played within a week or in a certain time frame?

So EW will now only play South Stokes, North Stokes, Alleghany, and Starmount in their conference? Wow!! Sad!

1 game a week unless a game gets postponed to the following week typically due to weather. But you can't schedule 2 games in a week.

So the games cancelled due to covid considered postponed or cancelled alltogether?

Wilkes Counties contact tracing rules are crazy. You are put on a 14 day quarantine from sports no matter test results. But the kids are allowed back in school after 10 days. Surry must have a more fair system in place.

Not by EW decision, your team is good but we are not dodging you. I again say these kids want to play and not one person understands the rules. Leadership is failing these kids daily and you people keep ignoring it until your team is bothered by it. This is straight up idiocracy, but the main problem is you ignore it until it hits your door steps.

no one has said one word about dodging anybody…gonna be extremely difficult to make up 2 missed conference games therefore EW would have a 4 game league schedule…
