The only good win they have is the win over North Iredell and I say that because NI is a larger school. They have beat the teams they were suppose to and lost to the teams they were suppose too. I hope that continues on Friday night.

JV score East 36 - West 8 (Finishes season 10 - 0)
East capped off the season as conference champs with a hard fought victory last night. East had not trailed all year in a game until the Blackhawks took the opening drive down for a touchdown. West made the 2 point conversion for an 8 - 0 lead. East answered right back as wingback Jolly broke a long touchdown run to make the score 8 - 6. That was the score at the half.
In the second half East took the opening drive down to make it 12 - 8 on another Jolly touchdown. At the end of the 3rd East was ahead 20- 8 and in the fourth they added two more touchdowns.
West put up a good fight, I think they just wore out in the second half. East attempts to keep their lineman fresh by not playing them both ways and it really shows in the second half of games.

I hope West keeps this game clean this year. Two years ago in Millers Creek West played the dirtiest ballgame in a long time. They had players intentionally stepping on ankles to attempt to hurt players. Hopefully they will play with a little class.
I agree. That was an ugly ballgame 2 years ago. Hopefully East can come out on the winning end while still playing classy and disciplined. Its not ever easy to win at West Wilkes. They will definitely be looking to play the spoiler role.
