Syracuse is Siberia, not the Northeast.Huh. It seemed like the consensus (or at least majority opinion) here was that he wouldn't want to coach in the Northeast.

Ogeron is a better coach. His team at USC (when he took over) was head and shoulders better prepaired and more watchable than MC at FIU. Watching FIU lose to teams like Arkansas State after TY Hilton left was tough to watch. He coached a boring, conservative, and unimaginative style after TY.I'd take him but if it's a possible We may as well go cristobal if we want a recruiter. Cristobal is a better coach.
I'd bet if he WANTS IT the job is his.....this worries me as long as KF is our HC...he'd probably outrecruit us nationally...we'd still have the local edge until or if he starts winning,,,,,I thought Orgeron was somebody for Syracuse to call years ago when they fired Robinson and hired Marrone, if for no other reason than to help Marrone recruit. I absolutely could see that if there's mutual interest.

Bet if we reached out he'd take our situation before Cuse's if he's not scared of competition like UM,Franklin and Harbaugh..His family LOVES the south per my LSU boys this is all about "leverage " but we will see. 1 of 4/5 guys I don't want see recruiting around here.
He could live in the Pine Barrens in Ocean County. It's just like the South in some parts. His family LOVES the south per my LSU boys this is all about "leverage " but we will see. 1 of 4/5 guys I don't want see recruiting around here.
Great work! Also reminds me of Mongo (Alex Karras) from Blazing Saddles:"Ogeron" sounds like a good name for Siberia or any other cold and barren place
His face also reminds me of the tortured man in Michelangelo's "Last Judgement"

The point wasn't compairing the rosters. It was style of play and game preparedness. If Ogeron had the FIU roster, he would have done better with than Cristobol with the USC roster IMO. It's all relative rosters wise though. Cristobol did not have as good of a roster, but neither did the teams that he faced.Yes comparing USC' s roster to FIU's seems reasonable.
