Edenton vs Manteo - Round 2

With a 1st Round bye last week, it seems more like a month since the Aces have played. Will Manteo be a bigger challenge this time around, or will it be another lopsided win for Edenton? I’m predicting a closer game, but still a win for the Aces.

If Manteo cleans up their snapping / punting game then it will take the Aces a little more time to score. Manteo’s defense looked lost last game. The Aces will roll on to the 3rd round.

I predict the game will “feel” closer than last game because I do not believe Holmes will have the running clock early in the second quarter like last game. Also don’t believe the margin of victory will be as large as last time but I believe the margin of victory will be a comfortable one. Coach Sawyer coaches his boys up and gets a lot out of them. They are a feisty and scrappy bunch and will not lay down for the Aces.
