Enloe is 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the CAP-7, yet no one is talking about them? They run the wishbone offense and I saw the game vs Sanderson in which their RB rushed for around 350 yards and 4 TD's, yet no one is talking about them? Why is that? I mean 8-0 is no easy mark and they do play Sanderson, Millbrook, and a decent Broughton team. Are we not going to show them any respect till we see them against Cardinal Gibbons? lets say they are atleast 10-1 by the end of the season, what is their playoff ranking then? Because I dont know if even Maxpreps is respecting the record, even tho everything is by strength of schedule now...

no one is really coming out of the wood work but I do want to get thoughts on this? I mean the whole east is really down so who knows what could potentially happen?? they could end up as one of the top teams coming out. Im not a fan of theirs but I am a fan of football and the underdogs and I like what the coach is doing there...
The truth is, Enloe has been a bad program for years and they have really softened their schedule and the conference isn't very good. The 2 good team are coming up and Enloe will find out just what they have. I do not blame them for doing that. Sometimes you have to play teams that you can beat to get the kids believing they can win. With all that factored in, no one who knows much about HS football is going to drink that kool aid. Good luck to them and I hope they can keep building their program. They are a huge school and they should compete year in and year out.
kinda like Pinecrest of a few years ago, there was a couple times they were 7-0 when they met Scotland County. It didn’t go well for them.Port hit the nail on the head .Theres 77 4a teams, according to simmons the strength of schedule is 69th amongst them .

I don't care who Enloe has played. They are 8-0 and should be proud of that. When was the last time they were even competitive against the poor teams they play? Been years. They won't win the state championship this year, but they at least are having a great season. Congrats to them and their coaches!

Bronco, nobody is talking about them because they are from Raleigh. Only program that gets much respect there is WF. Used to be Millbrook and Garner were the top teams in Wake County. Sanderson is always inconsistent. SER used to be good, then dropped off. Enloe is a huge magnet school with basically no football tradition. That's why nobody talks about them.

Why should Raleigh schools get much respect (outside of WF)? There have been some good teams come out of Raleigh over the past 15 years but very few really good teams or great teams. That can not be disputed. Compare that to Charlotte, WC, Indy, Butler, MC, Vance, CC. Plus there have been really good teams that have lost to a great team.
