Every kid that comes to my house wanting candy is going to get his eyes opened. I'm going to explain to them about entitlement, and how they have to do things for me to give them candy. Then I'll go on a lesson about particiption trophies. The end will be a wrap-up explanation of the difference between a hand-up and a hand-out. Kids are going to be very appreciative and love me.

What are they gonna have to do for their candy Joe Pa?

There are 3 things I know about this woman
1. She hasn't actually earned a penny at an actual job in at least 5 years.
2. She watches Oprah's network and Dr. Phil daily.
3. Her husband wishes he was dead.

If somebody tried giving me carrot sticks I would have told them where they can stick those carrots. Fun to eat, my a$$.

They're incredibly fun to eat in a crowded office environment or at the movies. Just make sure you mouth stays open as you chomp.

It's well-known that the rates of these food allergies have been increasing. There are lots of hypotheses as to why, but no proven explanation yet exists.
Yeah I don't get it either. I became mildly lactose intolerant a few years ago. I can eat a lot of milk products like cheese (most of the time) and milk chocolate, for example, but if I drink milk the results are not pretty.

Lactose intolerance isn't an allergy. It's an inability to digest lactose (a sugar found in milk) properly due to a decrease in the production of lactase, the enzyme needed to break down lactose. It's quite common for people to produce less lactose as they age. From a global perspective, you might even say lactose intolerance is the norm, and people of European descent who *don't* develop lactose intolerance are the exception.

Halloween is the perfect liberal holiday. Walk around and expect people that work and spend their hard earned money on something to just give it to you for free.

Also, that her husband is likely cheating on her if he has any sort of pulse...

Accommodate*

You see that keypad on your phone? You notice the o and the I are beside each other? When you type on a phone it is rather easy to have a typo but thank you for your contribution to the thread.

I bet you're the same guy who calls 3 second violations in pick-up basketball.

Regarding "new" allergies: I had a buddy growing up that had what I guess you would call a severe case of Celiac disease. No one found this out until he was 3, and by then he was already a couple years behind what you'd call a normal growth trajectory. Poor bastard only grew to 5'4. So I guess it's good they're finding this stuff out earlier.

As someone who has a few family members with severe peanut allergy, I understand where shes coming from. But, she has it reversed. It isnt the worlds responsibility to change for her child. Its the exact opposite.

Even worse, shes doing her child a major disservice. The child needs to learn how to identify foods with the allergen so they can learn to live their life accordingly.

Let the child go trick or treating. Dont accept homemade goods for obvious reason. Then later take out all the candy with allergens. It isnt that hard.
