I was responding to Ned. I know what you and tboon think. She definitely doesn't have a career in politics outside of MAGA, but he seemed to imply he thought she was way out on a limb and this could take her. When it seems obvious to me she is not out on a limb, but just out where MAGA/Trump wants her. So just don't think this matters at all.

Anyone else get the sense that these Epstein “files” if/when they are released will be pretty underwhelming and have very little in the way of substantive, verifiable, actionable new information?

I generally agreed that there probably wasn't much in the files, but the lengths that Trump is going to deny,deflect and blame is really making me wonder what the hell those files say about him?

Given how much time Tigergrowls spends on these forums and MAGAverse I think it’s fair to say he doesn’t have anything going on in his life, so he derives meaning from being a part of the MAGAsphere which isn’t concerned with ethics or truth.
I think he's definitely in them but I'd be surprised if there was hard evidence he slept with underage girls, but the harder he tries to change the subject, the more I think there just may be something incriminating in them. Can't remember what rag it was but one that seems dialed in said there's lots of unverified hearsay in there, so that may be what he's trying to hide. And that's probably another reason why Merrick Garland didn't release them because he went out of his way to appear non-political.

DEVELOPING: On July 6, 2007, a 23-page letter from Jeffrey Epstein's lawyers Alan Dershowitz and Gerald Lefcourt stated that Epstein was Co-founder of the Clinton Global Initiative which became the Clinton Foundation. The letter was tied to a successful plea deal before Epstein was charged, this directly ties Hillary and Bill Clinton to Epstein’s network.

Here's what we know:
- The whole Epstein scandal hit the media in 2008 when he pled guilty to solicitation. Then again in 2019 when he was charged with trafficking.
- There's a who's who list of people who attended parties with Epstein and Trump was on that list. There's even a photo of Epstein, Maxwell, Trump, and Melania.
- The majority of people who associated with Epstein weren't pedophiles.
- Trump kicked Epstein out of Mar a Lago in 2007 for hitting on one of the member's daughters. This was BEFORE the charges against Epstein surfaced.
- Alan Dershowitz was falsely charged and exonerated. The point is that some of the "victims" lied.
- Biden's DOJ didn't push for files to be made public. They would have had every reason to expose Trump.
- Trump's DOJ is also not making the files public.
Yet for some reason you seem to think the whole issue is that the Trump administration is covering up his pedophilia. You have nothing to support that.
And this is probably true for everyone in them honestly. If they had hard evidence, I sure hope they would be charging. But there's a gap between, everyone can look at the evidence and make inferences and see a ton of smoke....and things they can prove without a shadow of a doubt.

Maybe it's just me but Johnson shutting down Congress until September seems to support that he knows there's something is in there he doesn't want revealed to the public. And I can't imagine he would do that for any other person except Trump. What that thing is, who knows, but it makes it awfully suspicious when you also consider Trump's attempts to bury the story and distract with a nonsensical story about Obama.
