If they had gotten bad news on #24 you're talking about having to pull a freshman up...

Lol. Hayesville has every freshman pulled up and starting several of them.
Right and I hate that for Hayesville but apples to oranges really. We are talking about a Murphy team with Rayburn, Abling, Smith and Wood that would've probably been a state title team versus a Hayesville team with all the guys lost maybe battled Andrews for 3rd in conference.

1A teams better not forget the fact the Mountain Heritage will also be 1A next year. IMO they are a top notch program every year. If it wasnt for Shelby/Reidsville they wouldve won a couple titles at least.
Also to note, if you dont have the horses up front, it really doesnt matter what you try to do on offense. Not gonna happen.
for sure would’ve gone to title game about 6 times. When joeys boy had that big year and they barely lost to reidsville they’d have won it all. But remember Mitchell really should have tied East surry in the final minutes of game last year. East beat reidsville. Reidsville won 2a. There’s not as big a difference between 1aa and 2a top teams. Where the difference is in the early rds. The bottom of 1a playoffs are bad. Wrh would’ve won 2a in 15

No matter what you robbinsville guys say yes y’all crushed Hayesville but they had y’all on your feet for majority of the game, everybody there expected robbinsville to destroy them but they hung touch for a bunch of freshman and sophomores minus senior McClure and played very well in defeat! A lot of horrible turnovers hurt both teams! And refs we flag happy on both sides! Bottom line is Robbinsville is prob state champs again but Hayesville young team held tough as long as they could and look to be improving

Ask east surry lol , they got killed last week, Reidsville could have score 100 on them.

Hooper had 9+ a carry

McClure had 4.2 a carry.
let them trade offensive lines and see what the outcome is, McClure behind the Rville offensive line would rush for 250 a week. Averaging 4.2 a carry when almost every run, his first contact is three yards behind the line of scrimmage is pretty solid.

Ncpreps had then rank number 1 last week, now they suck because Reidsville beat them lol
Listen junior, I know you just joined 2 weeks ago, and have done nothing but talk **** since joining, but 1. I never said East Surry sucked, I merely said they weren't a top tier 1a team this year. They didnt look good against a North Davidson team that didnt look good, and they looked even worse against Reidsville. There are a handful of 1a teams that could hang with reidsville this year, but ES obviously isn't one of them. 2. Yes, the top of 1aa and the top of 2a are actually pretty close almost every year, it's just that 2a has MORE quality teams. Study these teams, watch some film, learn about the rest of the state, because I promise, there is alot more to learn than just Mountain Heritage, and whoever they have scheduled.

I've heard this argument til I'm sick of it.
Last year McClure was better than Anderson, this year he's better than Hooper..lol
Hes a great athlete and great kid..BUT he's not in the same league of running backs of Anderson and Hooper..period

I do think he is better than Hooper, and college coaches think so as well. Is Anderson playing in college right now? What about Hooper does he have any offers or plans to go to a school. McClure has a preferred walk-on spot at App st a top 30ish program.

Are we talking HS backs or College backs.
As far as HS backs go Anderson was better that ALOT of kids that will go to college. One thing that makes a good HS RB is toughness/durability. I really dont think McClure could carry the ball 25 times a game for a full season without getting hurt. No matter which line he ran behind.

He would not have started at Robbinsville the last 2 years except for punting or maybe receiver. Period. Anderson or Hooper have made it very clear they are not interested in college football

What I’ve learned so far this season. Rville is the 85 Bears but slightly better. Their lineman are all 6’6 400lbs across, their RBs all run 4’3 40s. Their ball boys eat nails and piss napalm. Their midget team has played the majority of the varsity snaps this year and absolutely any and all negativity about rville will be swiftly rebutted and not tolerated.

we will never know but if the two swapped spots the conversation would be completely different, I am not saying he is better than Anderson. if anything its a credit to Rville's line. I am old and fat but could probably average 6 or 7 yards a carry running behind them haha.

McClure is not Anderson. McClure is not Hooper. McClure will also not be Adams or Williams. Nothing against the McClure kid at all but like stated before, he’s not in the same conversation as those guys.
