Coaching. Even ma coaches above press box we're yelling WTH is he calling several times. Bad offense play calling. Coach Holder would had this team prepared. When Green not playing and #6 hobbled this team was done bf it started. MA NVR been beat like that at home.

Dont be a fair weather fan all of a sudden. Missing 2 main contributors due to injury and down 7-0 @ half they seemed prepared. Kids are kids they know their buddies couldn't play, East Surry is a good team and played well. When kids begin to doubt things can unravel.
Doubting a coach who went 12-0 won a Conf Championship and went to the final 4. This is what's wrong with sports, society and fans.

I agree would have been a great match up coach holder on the side line for the blue and Coach Diamont on the side line for the red and white because everyone knows this should have been Coach Diamont's team. And both would be well prepared.

MA has had speed all season. But it goes to show ya that speed helps but depth is underrated. As good of a program as Mt.Airy has, you would think they could field a team of at least 35 or so players. Depth killed them in this one. Great coaching job by ES. They saw blood in the water with MA's wounded players and had those kids ready to feast on everything moving.

He is a Wilkes county fan that likes to come watch MA play. Mostly he is just hot air. MA got outplayed last night. That take away after halftime took the life out of them. Congratulations to ES on the win.

Im a fan of football. I have seen quite a bit. Hot air is for those who dont follow football around the state as i do. I follow EW, we bow out of the playoffs, i watch other teams...If that's hot air then i certainly am full of it...DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT..CRYBABIES!! A blind man can see they were clearly the better team...When these cats on here or anywhere start paying my bills and buying my gas..then they can dictate my comings and goings my man. I don't just come to watch Mt.Airy..i go to see good games...i didn't watch Mt.Airy play bums...I honestly like to go when they have a shot at losing. So in essence I support EW..i have said it all year..We don't have teams that consistently get far in the playoffs so i travel, since you seem to need an explanation of who a grown man cheers for.LOL..now there is ya hot air Sbbb ..got plenty more ..

Both made game adjustments at the half and we seen who was better coached. Coach Adkins doesn't do offense he is D coach. We have watched this circus all year and can say first hand Adkins is a good coach Butt Kelly Holder was a great coach.

East Surry has been underrated all year ,this team is very deep,wish MA had been injury free ,because after that theft of a game a few weeks back,the Cards would have still beaten MA bad.All week people on here tryin to play hide and seek about 6 and 21 like East Surry give a crap ,they was wanting them to play ,they woulda won anyway ,yes 21 and 6 would have changed the game somewhat ,but couldn’t have got the win .Mt Airy will have their day again ,I’m sure ,but for now Pilot Mountain has got the best team and players flat out in this area.Those qb’s are the real deal ,and the rest are very underrated .Last season I saw a lot of class from east surry players ,while Mt airy was playing tarboro,these kids were pulling for the bears,not like some of these cry baby mt airy fans on here ,wishing these kids bad luck against teams to come .The Pilot area parents and school are so respectful of any of our area kids,that’s what makes them good people ,and you wonder why Mt Airy is so dispised.Show respect to these kids we do yours .

The only thing you can blame the media for is the AP polls. When Mt Airy gets reported on, they are the defending 1AA West champions. That’s a fact, but it’s also old news. This year is obviously different. There has been plenty of social media slant for MA, but social media has no objectivity or accountability.

Those strip 6 plays can be killers...Murphy had it happen TWICE in the western finals at MA last season.... Dogs lost by those same 14 points.....This year it went against Mount Airy......and they lose by 40 at home......despite those 2 strip 6 plays Murphy didnt fold and was in it all the way, not a 40 pt blowout.....
