For "going over the top" about AJ McCarron's girlfriend.

When is ESPN going to apologize to me for showing his girlfriend ad nauseum during a football game?

I don't like Musburger- and I hope he gets fired over this, and maybe this is their excuse to do so- but he really didn't say anything other than she is pretty. It's not like he was sitting there like- "Man Herbie, those are some nice tits. I'd like to take her to my hotel room and have my way her six ways till Sunday."

just another PC reaction..sure she enjoyed the attention...can't imagine that he would get fired for it. He shouldn't have apologized in a rational world.

17 IT. This guy said what every other guy on the entire planet said. Hell even swan lake had a post about it.

Edited to add that Swan Lake was commenting on her looks, not her achievements.

Damn right she enjoyed it. She was a nobody and he made her famous. Although, technically, from the story I saw, Musberger didn't apologize. ESPN apologized and said that Musberger went overboard and he realizes that. Almost says to me that he said, "Hell no, I'm not apologizing for anything." And if that's the case, I just gained my first bit of respect for Brent Musberger.

Meanwhile on CNN.....

They've got Kathy Griffin performing simulated oral sex on Anderson Cooper on the NYE broadcast and it's heralded as this great moment in TV history. The drive-bys that are up in arms about this are so hypocritical, it's ridiculous.

What Musburger said was nothing in comparison, but HE'S the villain. The world has gone insane.

Remember when ESPN made David Pollack issue an apology

for doing the upside down Hook em Horns. They are a JOKE.

Exactly

When I watch a football game, I want to watch a football game. Not look at the quarterback's family in the stands.
