It appears that way. But still, what should that matter?

How old are you? I can only assume you've not yet spent much time in the working world if you don't understand the difference between a sexual affair outside the workplace and one with an employee in a position subordinate to yours.

I am in management for a fortune 500 company and there is a zero tolerance for "dating" a subordinate. It would end in termination. Period.
Which again is not fair. What if they really love one another and do a good job of separating relationship from work? Who you decide to date should not be a reason to be fired.

I am plenty old enough. And I am not oblivious to reality. Things like this happen all the time. It just seems that it comes to light when one of the parties gets upset at the other. In my mind, it is a non issue at that point.

Pot meet kettle.

Jones has repeatedly admit he was wrong about Cal.

You on the other hand, are on this board a lot, attacking Jones' character.
Umm, what? What am I wrong about? He made up a lie to assassinate another mans character. I didn't make up anything, he has admitted to doing what I said he did.

Matt's too busy. The Basketball schedule was finalized and he's probably so excited that he's forgotten about FB. Him and his crew have turned on the FB coaches and program. Thank God we have Freddie Maggard. If Matt new anything, he'd get it out there. You can bet on that!

Because it does affect the work place. She may get a raise and someone else may think they deserve it and the only reason she is getting it is because she is screwing one of the people in charge. I can't believe this has to be explained to you.

You are assassinating someone's character, which is what you are claiming MJ did. Did MJ admit he was wrong about Cal or not??

I could say that about anyone. You going to fire a guy who is friends with a subordinate? Because if they get a raise, then they got it because they are boys. That type of stuff is always in the workplace. So again, it is dumb and that should not be a fierable offense. If the two parties that be can go about their business in a professional way, then there shouldn't be an issue. Your job or position should not be allowed to determine who you are allowed to date in your personal life.

If all that is suspected turns out to be true does Gran become the head coach for the rest of the year and is he a candidate for the full time position? It probably doesn't matter but who runs the defense from this point to seasons end.

Well I questioned his credibility since he has admitted to making up lies. If that's assassinating his character then so be it. He lied about Cal because he said he was jealous, this is a fact. People with common sense question the credibility of those who make up lies to degrade other people. I'm not sure what you're not getting here.

Stoops must read this board. He saw how much Petrino was liked on here so he just wanted to be more like Bobby. Unfortunately, he doesn't win like Bobby.

True and at UL adultery will not get you fired. Wouldn't it be ironic that Stoops gets the boot for messing around and not for his lousy won loss record. But I doubt he would get fired for messing around because we have a history of men's coaches messing around and none got fired that I know of. They did get fired for being a loser.

I am a good guy. Thanks man.

But I don't think I should sit this one out. If Stoops is using his position to force sexual realtions, then he should go to jail IMO. But the me is ZERO proof of that right now. So saying g that is just not right IMO.

Secondly, to my point above, it doesn't matter what the circumstances are in people getting a raise or promotion or whatever, there is always going to be people in the workplace that get pissed thinking it should be them or their buddy.

I think.when it is two.consenting adults, then yes, there should not be an issue.
With all due respect, you must have never owned or run a business . Having sex with an employee is stupid, there is no other way to say it. The employee always has the upper hand. They can and do use the position of authority of the other person to their advantage . Companies write huge checks for this all the time. It is never worth the risk .

What I have figured out from your posts on this thread is you really lack any common sense.

What it is is that your such a stooge for stools that no matter what he does you would support him. I bet if he was banging your wife and you walked in you would gently close the door and leave and act like nothing ever happened.
First off, I don't have an evidence to throws stones at the guy.

Secondly, and most importantly, you can keep my wife out of this you piece of ****. I can take a whole of things said to me, but my wife is off limits. Best thing to do is shut the hell up bud.

The threads that will follow if/when this story gets confirmed will be very interesting to say the least.

I'm sort of on the fence about that. Yeh, he's probably not going to coach more than 6 or 7 years tops, however he could build a better foundation in those years than Brooks did and retire leaving UK in the best shape it's ever been setting the table for the next coach.

I looked it up and he is going to be 65 in 6 weeks.
We have a good enough personel on the team right now for us to get the attention of a good proven up and comer.

I love Butch Davis and his abilities as well as former Ohio St coach Jim Tressel but both are the same age and we might get 3-4 years out of them before they would want to retire.
I like Schiano, Kiffin, Fleck, Brohm, Taggart, matt wells, Herman etc.
Then your going to have other programs fire their coaches as well this season and their will be a carousel of hires.

Who can put together a staff that has noteworthy names to draw recruits? Who can keep a couple of guys on staff that we have who are good coaches (marrow, Gran, Hinshaw, thomas), connections to recruiting hot beds, etc etc.

Who knows. We won't know anything factual out in the open until tomorrow or early next week if it is legit.

A ton of people on here saying it is true though. Now could they all be lying? Well it is the internet, but I don't see the advantage of SO MANY UK posters lying on here to us about this.

I sure would hope so. If that is the situation we are in a whole new territory. In some places not only would it get you fired, it might get you killed. If she lived on Wolverton Mountain.
I've gotten several text messages from decent knowledge and the story is the same. I hate rumors but this appears to have some substance.
