Awful lot of buzz for it to be completely unfounded. Not to mention the player tweets being quickly deleted.

Yesterday, mods were deleting like crazy, today not deleting.....maybe they have info that some of this stuff is actually true.....

Trollathon perhaps?
Seriously Mrs. Chump? WAS a K fund donor for years. Had 4th row 20 yard line seats. Traveled 2 hours until the day FL was up 49-0 at half time. If you dont remember my user name over the years then whatever. However, I understand your allegiance and apprehension. Carry on.

I looked it up and he is going to be 65 in 6 weeks.
We have a good enough personel on the team right now for us to get the attention of a good proven up and comer.

I love Butch Davis and his abilities as well as former Ohio St coach Jim Tressel but both are the same age and we might get 3-4 years out of them before they would want to retire.
I like Schiano, Kiffin, Fleck, Brohm, Taggart, matt wells, Herman etc.
Then your going to have other programs fire their coaches as well this season and their will be a carousel of hires.

Who can put together a staff that has noteworthy names to draw recruits? Who can keep a couple of guys on staff that we have who are good coaches (marrow, Gran, Hinshaw, thomas), connections to recruiting hot beds, etc etc.

I'd be happy with your list other than Kiffin. IMO he's a train wreck looking for a place to happen. He's never won with less talent than his opponents have and that's job #1 at UK.

If an employee commits harassment, the company can be sued, depending on how they handle the situation. If a manager commits harassment, the company can be sued regardless of how they handle the situation. Also, relationships between colleagues have to be reported to HR (not illegal, they just want to make sure they're aware and one isn't put in charge of the other) and relationships between a manger and his/her subordinate are not allowed, possibly illegal. For instance, if your lover is given a position when there's a more qualified candidate (think BP), the company can be sued. If you are dating a subordinate, they can easily claim harassment (he/she fired me because I broke up with him/her, he touched me inappropriately, he sent me a Brett Favre-esque/Anthony Weiner-esque picture), when things go bad in the personal relationship and the company can get sued, regardless of how they handle the situation (i.e. firing the supervisor after the claim).

I couldn't really care less what he chooses to do with his personal life, but I wish there was a way he could get canned for the three ring circus he rolls out at Commonwealth every Saturday (without having to pay that crazy buyout)

If his contract has a morals clause it may have a non buyout for cause due to moral issues. UK may save that $12,000,000. But I know nothing about this, just reading message boards.

What it is is that your such a stooge for stools that no matter what he does you would support him. I bet if he was banging your wife and you walked in you would gently close the door and leave and act like nothing ever happened.

That's over the top, jackass! You owe this man an apology.

If it is true that he had an affair with a subordinate it makes no difference what MB wants to do. Pres Capiluto will fire him immediately without any further pay and he should.
Not until after he pays him a while longer and sues the school newspaper.

You don't think he could recruit some serious talent here? He improved UT while he was their from the previous year and while at USC the ncaa ruled that any junior or senior could leave the team and go anywhere they like and play immediately. Lost a bunch of guys and then had a 10 scholarship reduction over a 3 year time period. In the 2010 season he had 62 guys suit up to play. Then you take into account injuries, guys not ready etc then that is a recipe for failing.
He also followed Pete Caroll which is some big shoes to fill, Caroll was 5-4 in the pac 12 when he bailed out and Kiffin was the same in his first season.

If true, he should not be on the sidelines tonight.

That's what I think too. If he's on the sideline the rumors are false. If true he should be fired immediately if not sooner. If he is on the sidelines and the rumors are true Barnhart should be fired too.

ESPN, SEC Nation, etc, would be all over this.if factual.

I truly hope it's false. Just a sad sad thing.

I was told he's already been fired. All you can do at this point is laugh about this program and how it's run. I haven't heard anyone refute the story which tells you all you need to know. This story is everywhere now.
