Yeah, because we have never been 1-2 before... or in dire need of just one win to be bowl eligible...

Do you recall dire need tweets then?

No but maybe this is being blown way out of proportion by those wanting it to be true. I admit the tweet was odd but if Stoops takes the field tonight then that should be a clue this is just so much folderol. Or maybe it's true, just doubt anything that comes off UT's board.

Derrick Rose allegedly cheated on his SAT in High School and Matcus Camby took money from an agent. UNC had 1,000's of athletes taking fake classes, unauthorized grade changes, papers written for them, and all kinds of academic fraud at UNC performed by UNC staffers. It's a lot different than a certain bballcoach UK hired.

Cal was cleared by the NCAA, Davis was cleared by the NCAA. Looks the same to me.

What I'm saying is the rumors are true. I'm not stating what has done been said. I don't have no idea when he gets fired. I would assume a internal investigation would accure.
That's my point. There are numerous rumors. Which ones are true? And again, why an investigation if they are already known to be true?

Don't know if it's true or not....and I've been around long enough to know anything is possible (bad) when it comes to UK football. But does anybody else find it funny that if we back up 4 years and replace "co-Ed" with "local sports reporter" we end up having the exact same rumor at about the exact same time of year with Joker?

Unless it involves a student or a bimbo he hired into the football offices that he takes for rides on his Harley and he just wrecked it with her on board and lied to his AD, I see no problem.
The former Ark HC situation is a somewhat bizarre slant on a common pitfall..... A more common scenario is if boss/supervisor/person in power is pressuring a woman who is already employed by the organization for "extra attention." Especially problematic at BBN if this hypothetical woman happened to also work in the FB staff or athletic offices. At that point the "holding my job hostage" accusations become career altering or worse.

BTW- Is it possible the players tweets were about the UK commit getting injured last night? Kinda fits in with Johnson's alleged tweet. Just throwing thoughts out there.
I doubt it. Why would they have deleted the tweets if it were about Koback?

Well, IF any of this true, on a positive note, motorcycles, Highway Patrolmen, and the University payroll do not appear to be involved.

It's an extremely personal and sensitive situation.

Better have your ducks in a row if you start accusing.

As I stated above I think they'll give him an opportunity to resign before it gets really ugly.

They aren't the same. Davis might have been cleared but that was a dirty program. They didn't get caught for half the things they did. What Cal got in trouble for was over things he had no control over. The Rose situation in particular. It's still not clear that Rose cheated. Even if he did he wasn't at Memphis at the time. He really wasn't even committed. All Cal did in the Rose case was to play a player that the NCAA had given it's blessing to and then later retracted after the season was over. Davis was far more at fault than that. Even if he didn't participate in the cheating, which I doubt, he did have control over the players that were involved. Cal had no guardianship over Rose at all when he took the test.

You can say Davis was far more at fault, but the NCAA doesn't agree with you. They said he had nothing to do with it and that's all that matters.

all good, just making sure people are clear on the facts. I have been extremely lenient when it comes to moderating policy over the past year to the point where I have gotten more complaints about "letting stuff go" than I have complaints about posts that 'shouldn't be up'
I personally think you guys have done a very good job. Fans have been allowed to rant and vent pretty freely IMO. I think you have improved the site and content.

How? She is an adult who decided to have a relationship.
Employer/employee relationship. If one party works for the other, it is perceived that the employer is/or could use the power of continued employment over the employee. Improper (in some cases prohibited) behavior suitable for firing in most organizations over the past 25 years.

It appears that way. But still, what should that matter?
Well, playing the devils advocate here, she could say she felt like if she didnt do what he wanted, he could get her fired. As bad as that sounds, it happens pretty often when the shiat hits the fan

IF there is ANY substance to these rumors nothing will happen on game day. I'm sure UK doesn't want any more negative press than they already have on game day. If I had to guess nothing would be done until tommorrow at the earliest. Just my opinion.

Stoops is not the boss. He is also and employee. Employee to employee relations happen all the time. The real issue is that someone can sue for sexual harassmenteven after willingly having a relationship with someone else.
Good luck explaining that to a jury that the HEAD Football coach isn't a boss

You understand that Stoops is very much a supervisor right Merri? That is considered a boss...

How do you know for sure it's true? That's a big statement unless you have something concrete to back it up.

Interesting question: IF this is true, do you think UK would allow him to resign/fire him had he actually turned the program around and had UK on the way to respectability?

Just curious.

There's a difference between cheating with a random person and cheating with a University student or University employee working under you (especially if it leads to pregnancy).

I don't know if the rumors are true, but IF the worst of what I've heard is true, he'll be gone.

100% agree. University policies must be adhered to by all University employees. Stoops is an employee and a supervisor of other employees.
