From where we were sitting in the stands at Dillon nastycats playing the Creek, dillon would have smoke them teams on televison yesterday. Well we b flying back into clt nc for the CREEK game against Byrnes Rebels.

Let's assume since Dillion would be victorious against these two squads via smoke inhalation, Mallard Creek's Band of Ducks would acquire some smoke in their eyes, too.

I watch some of these games Saturday and other than the 2 all-star teams(IMG and Bishop Gorman) I can see the top teams in NC handling their business against these other teams I saw.

Bishop Gorman looked awfully impressive to me. The RB and QB both looked awesome in particular. They executed very well and appeared to be very fundamentally sound. Their defense was also very impressive.

I haven't seen a team yet who could have beat that Arizona Saguaro team who beat the Colorado team led by National recruit McCaffrey. The Announcer said Arizona Saguaro O-Line was bigger than the Redskins O-Line. Had playmakers everywhere!

Shame on Que Tucker and the NCHSAA who refuse to deal with Live Football on ESPN. The old people in the NCHSAA have to go... Just retire!
So the younger can change the rules. NC is Losing ESPN Money!!! which is dumb any way you look at it; welcome to the 21st century one day .....period.

There is very little, if any, money. paid to the schools by ESPN but that is irrelevant, let them play. I do think if a school requested to play on national tv on Saturday and did so that allowed it to be voted on by the Board of Directors at the May meeting it would be ok'd.

I know in SC couple years back when AJ Green and company played they had to give gate money to ESPN. Sumpter a Florida team.

The first game Byrnes played on national television they gave the complete gate, over $100k (11k at $10 per) to ESPN. ESPN covered all production costs and the travel / hotel expenses of the visitor.

Byrnes turned the Saturdsy event into much more than football and made a lot on concessions from 9am until 5pm and merchandise. The gsne against Glades Central of Florida brought the program into the national spotlight.

Hoover had to comply with a clause to buy unsold ad space for their game in Oklahoma.
