Even rivals gave Jones a 5th star. ***

Also has OM at #10....and has them listed with one 5* player...but looking through their list I don't see one. Rivals sucks...

**nevermind they updated it**

Rivals still sucks. Has Cox as a 3star DB and Brassell as a 4-star DB. Stats..

They played on the same team this past season:

Cox: 52 tackles, 5 Tackles for loss, 6 interceptions, 9 pass breakups
Brassell: 4 tackles, 0 TFL, 0 INT, 2 PB

Justin Cox was named 1st team NJCAA All-American. Brassell zilcho.

For a side note, OM's 5-star DT Juco signee Hooks made honorable mention All-American, the UK DT Juco signee Z'Darius Smith made 2nd team, and Toby Johnson, a Juco DT that we are still going after, made 2nd team.

Brassell has played SEC football already

He showed his talent already. Saying that, Cox probly should be rated higher than a 3*

12 games, 14 tackles, 0 INT, 5 PBU at OM...

If anything, I think he played himself out of that fourth star at OM. As a DB in 2011, he gave up plenty of TD's. He was a true freshman, so that can be excused, but this past season in Juco I don't think he even started every game at DB. He may turn out good, but he's not a high 4-star DB right now.

Cox proved himself the past 2 seasons much more than Brassell did, including by far outplaying him as a DB on the same team and being named 1st team All-American, yet he's rated lower than Brassell.

Brassell also plays WR and returns kicks. He's not just a cornerback. I may be off, and Freeze may just play him on defense, but Brassell is a very, very good talent. He has character issues though, and that is his main problem.

He played WR mostly at EMCC but will play DB at Ole Miss. He was the best athlete on both sides of the ball at any given moment when he was at Ole Miss, outside of Moncrief.

To go even further, Cox should have been a 4 star in 2011. Once again, it seems like Mullen blows the MS recruitniks away as far as evaluating. Would have boosted the class ranking that so many ***** about. And Jermaine Whitehead and Tobias Singleton should have been 3 stars at best. Moncrief should have been a 5 star though.

Thats odd. So he wasn't the best DB at EMCC nor was he the best WR at EMCC but he was the 2nd best athlete at Ole Miss?

Come on, guy. Why are you even trying to argue about how good of a player that Brassell is? He's a mid 4* all day -- and I don't even need to know what he did at EMCC to know that.

That said -- Cox is underrated on every ratings site out there based on what I watched in the EMCC games this year. Anyone that has Shaq Fluker ranked more highly didn't watch those 2 play the position together. Yancy calls Cox a 5* talent -- that should tell you all you need to know.
