I actually think it was fair and balanced. Nothing wrong with the article IMO. I would even say that I am slightly upset that our players may be taking the "we won 8 games, this was a great year" approach. We need a leader to step up in that locker room, can't be a coach, and demand better and let it be known that the last 6 games were unacceptable for MSU football.

Banks saw it coming. Tried to get his teammates to kick it in high gear.

"17 a bowl game"....."I wanna play on Jan. 7 in Miami"

or something to that effect.

What's fair & balanced about it?...

..instead of addressing the abysmal coaching down the stretch, he plays the "lack of talent" card. From his point of view, the Egg Bowl debacle was due to the Ole Miss Rebels having more talent than us. If that's truly the case, this football program is headed down Crap Creek.

Bland. No real insight. Everybody knows there are questions. Look at our schedule this year. Agreed with earlier poster who wonders why he plays the talent card when our recruiting classes have progressed annually.

Who is getting worked up?

I'm just saying that the article basically didn't say anything good or negative.
