Sorry, was just trying to get y’all’s juices flowing. I’m a die hard Allman Bros fan… so Zac Williams … Midnight Rider is legendary. Tell me y’all’s fav!! Could have said Stevie Nicks doing Dave Matthew’s but that girl can sing anything!

Heart doing Stairway To Heaven. Whole bunch of people think it's better than Zep's.

But this 2nd Zep cover might be my personal favorite! Rock & Roll performed by Heart. Ann Wilson's vocals are outstanding, as usual. Drummer Michael Derosier has a kick-*** solo. That guy has got to be one of the most underrated rock drummers of all time. Take a listen and tell me what you think.

Here's another of my favorites. Dwight Yoakam doing Truckin' by The Grateful Dead

And the entire album Deadicated: A Tribute to The Grateful Dead is fantastic. May be the finest complete album of cover songs. You can listen to all the songs starting here:

Damn, you really got me going down the rabbit hole on this thread! Actually, this is probably my all-time favorite. KD Lang singing So In Love by Cole Porter. As you listen keep in mind she is a country singer, and listen all the way to the end...a great finale!

Diana Krall doing The Look of Love. First the album version, then a live performance where you get to see how smokin' hot she is!

I’m generally not a fan of covers but two I really like are Metallica covering Whiskey in the Jar:

And Jimmy Buffett covering Crosby, Stills, and Nash’s Southern Cross:

Speaking of Metallica, I’ve always loved their cover of Tuesday’s Gone with Jerry Cantrell and John Popper

Chris Cornell’s versions of Patience and Nothing Compare to You are also great

Dwight and covers.

I was lucky enough to see him here in Austin. His favorite band of all time is the Beatles.
He put on a fantastic show.

Hurt - Johnny Cash and Knocking on Heavens Door - GN'R. Both better than the original. Blinded by the Light - Manferd Mann is also better than Springsteen's version. Bon Jovi also does a great cover of American Pie.

@TTKADawg - Allman Brothers is my number one underrated band of all time.
