I’m in the fire crowd if we can beat everyone to the punch with a hire. I don’t think we can so vet, but don’t pull the trigger.

What about the fact that we were 2-10 last year?

Is losing like this not a marked improvement over 2024?
Lebby has proven, beyond all doubt, that he can't manage games.
That's a problem regardless of how much we've improved elsewhere.
Maybe he's distracted. I'm willing to concede that.
So maybe he needs to hand over play-calling and concentrate on the bigger picture.
Or perhaps that would make things worse... I just don't know.

we have to go to fayetteville and win

Georgia, we need to get in a slobber knocker with them and just take them toe to toe

Mizzou.....we have to survive

Univ. of Kiffen.......everything comes together and we win

Mizzou is down to 3rs string qb now so that is a very winnable game.

But this is 3 SEC games we have now found a way to lose and Lebby has not looked confident and his team has followed suit.

You would think a 6th year qb would help, but he has issues late (some caused by our OT getting roasted on closing drives)

Again, it would be impossible to not be markedly improved from last year. It was the worst MSU team in my lifetime. Zero points awarded for marginal improvement when we had zero coaching turnover in the offseason.

What about Lemonis being so much better in 2024 and 2025 than he was in 2022 and 2023? How’d we handle that situation?

Except 3 of those wins were Alcorn State, Southern Miss, and Northern Illinois. And the other one was pretty much an accident. We were in 3 of the close losses. So a small improvement, yes. Last year's schedule may have been a little tougher as well, so really a very small improvement.

The worst of our losses last year wound up with a 7-6 record. 6 of the teams only had 3 losses.

This was it. One of the worst losses that I have ever seen. All on coaching.

Up 17 after what this team has been through. It was win this one of get off of the 17’n pot.

His tenure is over as of right now. When our dumbass administrators decide to make the decision, who knows. But the dye has been cast.

Sorry but no game is winnable with our current qbs. KT is inexperienced, Kromenhoek apparently can’t do anything, and Shapen chokes when the game is on the line.

Vanderbilt is headed toward making the college football playoffs and we cannot win an SEC game. Let that sink in for a minute. We are not better at this point and all roads lead to the HC!! He's paid a whole lot of money to win and I don't count Alcorn and Northern Illinois.

I was upset last week. But realized the reality of our situation to find and hire another coach.

But after tonight..... the dumbass stuff that happened over and over.... snapping the ball with plenty time on the play clock, kicking the ball straight down the middle of the field to their playmaker... going for it and giving them points.... not to mention the undisciplined stupid stuff of a late hit that kept them alive.... dude just needs to go. It can't get any worse.

He may be a great OC, but he can't manage a game for nothing.

It's his bigger picture that sucks. Make him the Head OC and hire a bench coach to help with the bigger picture.

We are improved. But you have to win an SEC game in year 2. And Lebby isn’t going to. Today was a gimme and he blew it. The problem now is that even if Lebby has the ability to right the ship, it can’t be done. He needs fan support and NIL commitments going forward that he simply won’t be able to get now. We can fire him now and get a head start on a new rebuilding effort. Or we can fire him after we keep losing next year. But today sealed where this ends.

The last three were winnable but the team found a way to lose
