I'm 50 now.As luck would have it: If the Qb is "on fire next 5-6 games" you may well have another ring. That's all you need 6 games. What a coincidence. (And I don't blame you for being proud of past accomplishments, We feel the same way.)
Not taking anything from Burns they were the better team that night. Score should have been worse. I hope we can play in two weeks. But will be a hard task to get there. If we dont get to you I will be pulling for you to bring a champonship back to Cleveland County.
Your exactly right. This week Burns is the least of our problems. Forest Hills will be the toughest 1st rd game in a very long time for the Lions.
Bleed what year did you graduate from Burns. I probably know you I taught there from 1981-2005.
Taught in Vocational hall also helprd with graduation and prom.
Look at MaxPreps and who the approved scorer is for Burns football and you'll see who I am.

People going to look foolish when Shelby goes into their house and dominates this game. Don’t think recognize what’s about to happen.
I left Burns in 04 to go to CMS. I did organize the prom and graduation before I left.
Go to Burns football schedule on MaxPreps. Pick a game, click Box Score and it will be under that or click score tracker, after clicking on box score.
All Forest Hills has to do to beat Shelby is to score 1 more point than them.

I’ll be shocked if Shelby wins this game, but I’ll never count them out this time of year just because of their history. Even in their off years. Shelby has become world beaters though

Also coming off a game where we were dominated so confidence might be down. Oh and can't play a lick of defense. Still Shelby will show up play and see what happens. You don't even think about week 2 or who you play, cause if you don't win week one, week 2 doesn't matter.

I've never went to FBC. My son went to daycare there from 2015-2018, but that's it.

One thing that takes this game up notch on Friday Night is the defensive coordinator for Forest Hills Frank Toms. He is a Crest graduate and I'm sure he's fired up to line his defense up against his arch rival Shelby.
Calm down! If we are fortunate enough to get by Forest Hills and Burns beats us again, I will be pulling for Burns to win a State Championship.

I’ve been a jacket for 30 years! I’ve been at every FH vs Shelby game sense I was born other than 1986. Shelby and Burns want to talk about there rematch, Shelby has to come to marshville to get that and FH is ready to give Shelby the same feeling they have gave us several years and many fans want that match up with Burns for the 1st time sense the 1994 western final when we got beat on a BS goal line call as time expired

Haha.. wouldn’t say I’ve hung onto it but in 94 I was 8 years old, I thought the jackets were the greatest thing on earth and that game was the biggest most intense game I had been to at that time and that both teams fans stormed the field and there was a fight big enough that they called in multiple police departments it just one of those games you don’t forget lol
No and no, might as well just put it out there, and know in advance that I don’t care who doesn’t like it. I still expect to beat Forest Hills, but even if that does happen, I don’t see us beating you guys.
Even with Shelby at full strength, it would have been a tall task, definitely more competitive, though. Burns has athletes, and is better defensively than I anticipated. I will definitely pull for the Bulldogs to bring the state championship trophy back to Cleveland County, if and when Shelby is ousted.

LOL. Fair enough. I was also 8 years old. I didn't make the trip to that game, but I did make it to the championship game the following week.
I was there.... and when the crap hit the fan out on the field after the game, I wasn't sure we were gonna make it back across the parking lot to the car......
