The NCAA and their rule changes a few years ago made it tougher to defend, but Bilas saying game is getting too physical again. I think that the real problem is the inconsistency of the officials in calling fouls. Comments on officiating start about 6 paragraphs down.

Game too physical???

You can call a foul every trip down the floor. Some officials look for the most obvious calls. Some blow their whistle so often they need it replaced after 3 games. Officiating can become opinion based not everyone or every official sees it the same way. They do their best to call it as they see them.

According to BH, WVU never commits a foul and the opponent never gets called for a foul.
In actuality, WVU has shot 523 foul shots, while their opponents have shot 452.
