I'm not either. I'm talking about using "I was ordered" as an excuse. Take our military for example. They swear an oath to the constitution. When they don't honor that, they face consequences. You do not have to take a military order that violates the constitution.I'm not talking about a Nazi dictatorship at war, bruh. I'm talking about the modern day United States.
And I'm sure there are places were loyalists can 'make a dent' in their agenda. But not in the freakin' government bureaucracy, most of it is apolitical anyway. You're talking about military folks mainly here, which, weirdly, is where MOST of all the waste actually is. Nobody wants to hear that, though.
Under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) and long‑standing military law, a service member has a duty to refuse an order that is:
Illegal
Unconstitutional
Clearly immoral
In violation of the laws of war
Obeying such an order can make the service member criminally liable.
