Andrews 21 Carolina Gladiators 0 2nd. Nothing to brag about but we need this. We gave last weeks game away. Coach Phillips is doing great things.
NH 20, Swain 7. NH gets a pick-6 and the two-point conversion. Less than a minute to go in the half.

I think it's just a combination of better opposition and bad luck, tonight , anyway. The WNCAC is a lot better than they were for a while there. And this team is talented and mature, but thin, like most 1A teams. #84, probably our best WR, went out early in the 1st, and it shows on offense. We have played a halfway-decent 3A team pretty much even, but a couple of bad calls and bad breaks really hurt. The pick-6 at the end of the 1st half will be the difference-maker, if we end up losing.
NH 26, Swain 21, 6:30 or so to play. Bowman takes it about 60 yards to the house on an option keeper.

Defense played superbly, except for the one long drive they gave up in the 3rd quarter. But the offense needs to figure out how to hang on to the ball. This is a 1-2 team that could easily be 3-0. If they learn the right lessons from these games, they could really go far.

Should be a dandy. The Panthers would have to be heavily favored at this point, though, especially since it IS in the Pit.
Me too. But NH these days is not the NH of old. They are actually learning how to play football, so that you can't just count on beating them in your sleep anymore. Speed really does kill, if you give it enough chances.
Lol you got to be kidding . That's a team that got blew out by Hendersonville and barely beat a bad east Henderson team. This is a bad loss in every sense of the word
I agree. I laughed when AC-T picked NH over Swain. Not so funny now, guess they knew something we all didn't?
Every loss is a bad loss, but this one was one Swain gave away. Two INTs that resulted in scores (one a pick 6 that was just pure bad luck, and another that set up a gimme TD) turned a won game into a loss. And fumbles killed a promising drive or two. Except for allowing one long drive in the 3rd quarter, the D played well, and the offense even got untracked in the 2nd half. They played more than well enough to win.
