good effort by oweh to get at decent amount at the end of the half but then chandler comes in and screws up and gives up a wide open three.....cant wait for him to transfer next year.

I am beginning to wonder if leaving BYU took Pope away from his people, if you know what I mean. He seems depressed, overwhelmed. And I wonder if he's just very sheltered.

Would take an Alabama melt down for UK to win. Teams usually show improvement after Christmas break..... plenty of practice time.
I see zero improvement in this team.....and that's on coaching. Pope is not the man for this job, that's reality folks.
Playing a good team has nothing to do with how hard or the amount of effort that you give.
if Kentucky was getting beat at halftime, but the guys are playing hard, rebounding, playing tough defense, most of the fans would not be mad at that
I will admit that I am guilty of getting a little too excited about his return and what that means for this eam. Not saying anything negative about JQ, it's more about my unrealistic expectations about how he might change the team
This team is spineless. It reminds me of Ulis, when Skal was spineless and Ulis went up to him in huddle and pushed him telling Skal to rebound and fight. This team is Skal and reflects spineless Pope.

He is a Utah State level coach. BYU is very happy that he is gone.
How many times did they get him the ball? What’s he supposed to do when his coach implements a pathetic game plan? The dude is a lottery pick that his coach has no idea how to use.
Mitch and Pope are so to blame for all this total ********. Pope needs to just walk away if he loves UK like he says he does. This is pitiful and not like it’s been the only pitiful game this year.
