He looks like he's shooting because he thinks he should, not because he wants to take that shot.

Garrison shooting two 3s already is only thing that kinda gives me pause. I assume he has the green light though.
I was just about to say it’s nice not having the air dribbled out of the ball looking for a junk shot with 5 seconds left. We wanna run and gun.
From my view up in section 232 this team is doing a great job sharing the ball and a much better job finding the open man than any I can remember in recent memory.
Also playing hard on defense. Perry wore himself out chasing his guy all around the court. Need to be better at getting back on defense after a missed 3 though. That alone has accounted for about 9 of Wesleyan’s points.

Yeah he’s gonna get a lot of kick out assists this year.
A lot of 3s shot not many made. But I love the ball movement and interior passing.
He’s like a super-sized Erik Daniels.
They really do, the passing is pretty darn good and the movement without the ball is something that you'd rarely see in a Cal team.
It’s not like the former coach who said if you don’t take the shot you’re coming g out. If he can hit 1-3 it’ll be good.
Any thoughts on seeing more pressing after made baskets? I haven't followed the practices enough to know if this will be part of team DNA.
Cal wouldn’t even have time to yell “RUN” with this team
A zone and a press in one game. That’s more looks than Cal had in 15 years.

Yes. Good basketball is creating easy shots. We have been accustomed to watching guys trying to dazzle with difficult shots.
Oweh fights like hell. I love that kid already. Another rebound, he’s like Gerald Fitch rebounding the ball.
So you can both play defense and shoot threes. Interesting.
I think we will need Amari & Garrison to make up for some of Carr’s defense. Carr looks like a basketball player ….. which I have missed. He doesn’t look super athletic or stellar on D.
It surprises me that they "Go!" without it being yelled at them.
