Not much urgency to trying to score a TD at the end of the half. 3 time outs and we're clearly playing for a FG. Just once it was be nice to see us go for the jugular.
Ha they got it after all.

I feel like RU was outplayed and somehow we are up by 18
The RU OL started playing better at some point in Q2. After that, we started outplaying VT, IMO.

Before that, their lines were dominating ours, so they were having more success.

My view from the Cheap Seats: we're certainly capitalizing on turnovers, but VT certainly putting up numbers. We need to keep up the pressure & keep snatching turnovers in the 2nd half.

Flip Dixon interception is the play of the game so far.in my opinion. Once again the ball seems to be bouncing our way.

0 penalties and +2 turnovers. Even with being slightly outgained, it’s 21-3 RU. It may not be sexy, but man is this strategy effective.

Wimsatt looks good but more runs and yards (7/69) than completions and yards 5/38). I dont like seeing too many runs from thin and lanky QBs

I think RU adjusted some things and, despite a slow start, found some rhythm on O. D is playing bend, don’t break, D, which has proven wise so far.

So I think it’s less luck and more effort and coaching.

He's 6'3 225
Good size for passing QB.

For a tall runner near the line in means tackles below the waist and at the knees
RG3 was 6'2" 213 and that's how he got his final injury. Imagine Ray Rice at 6'3"

Ha Ray Rice at 6-3 is a terrifying thought

Curious to see if te D continues to play off the WRs. I think it’s a good idea, get the QB to throw more, maybe get more INTs.
