Dickinson got called for a foul against McConnell, but they are calling any arm contact made on Omoruyi's post attempts. We'll see what the second half officiating philosophy is.

I was thinking "slow it down, find a ball handler" but he took it all the way for the finish.

Calling a timeout under the rim off the offensive rebound near the end would have capped an excellent first half for him.

Still, down 3 all things considered is aight.

Can we find an answer for Dickinson in the 2nd?
Just continue to drop and double team the dope and try to push his post a bit further away.

Wolf outplaying Cliff. Actually I would like to see Cliff and Wolf play at the same time. Creates a matchup problem for Michigan. Worth a try Agree Caleb needs to stop shooting.
Lastly, where are the posters who quit after 5 minutes!
Wolf, Cliff, Caleb, Paul, and Derek.

Great comeback. Tough spot for Wolf underneath, he felt he had to go up with it, but if he could have passed it out, we could've taken the last shot. Otherwise gotta love Woolfolk, Simpson, and Oskar keeping us in it.

A lot has been written about Paul. But 5 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and a lot of hustle in 1st half.
Played a good half. Even liked his looks at the basket even though he's shooting whatever %.

REFS are TRASH...please someone tell me what Cliff did on either of his fouls. I'm sure @jerseybird has some **** explanation. Dickinson is a walking foul...the cylinder call was BS too.

They would torch us from outside if we played both. Also I don't trust either of them to pass in the post.

Could have called TO. But small critique.

From the game thread, seems like Michigan’s been getting a friendly roll on their shots? We’re going to need some luck for a change.

Hopefully Howard sticks with the forcing Dickinson strategy. They’re much better when they run through their guards.

The thing is if HD can pass out of the double that likely results in open looks for the likes of Howard, Bufkin, McDaniel and Baker. They can all make shots. We have to pick our. poison but if they hit shots in the second half it will be tough for us.

Yep. When he makes a couple of 10-footers, then that would be right
Cliff is our leading scorer and does have a post up game. Unfortuneately he's playing against much bigger opponents much of the time.

I'm not sure what Wolf's offense is. Pretty sure an end to end dribble and finish is not really representative of it.

I’m surprised how sure of Woolfolk everyone is. I don’t believe we’ve seen anywhere near enough to know if he can even be productive let alone impactful.

I don’t think he’s as good an athlete as people are saying. Think it’s just the “played football in high school” nanarrative thing
Another post too about Wolf will be recruited over

Still not very confident. We are now relying on Simpson, Oskar and Woof to lead us to the W? Our upperclassmen need to step up if we want to advance.

He does not have a reliable post up game. Minnesota was the outlier.
