We were not getting any calls down our end.Nothing more annoying than when the refs call a foul every single time there’s traffic or a contested shot. Just ridiculous
That and the clear OB on USC on the baselineWe were not getting any calls down our end.
That fantom foul in the closing 30 seconds was just an awful call. Makes you wonder
Did I miss something...not even close from being a foul.We were not getting any calls down our end.

Agree. Thought for sure a 3 pt shot would be the play selection there.Wouldn’t say a lob to Payne would be my first option. And the ball was clearly out on USC. Atrocious reffing.
Agreed. My problem isn’t necessarily the amount of fouls called. But rather how quickly the refs were blowing their whistles. They absolutely wanted to call fouls and weren’t watching closely. We were not getting any calls down our end.

I believe it was drawn up as either / or.Agree. Thought for sure a 3 pt shot would be the play selection there.
Going to Payne wasn’t the play. Sha said he wanted Clark driving it.I believe it was drawn up as either / or.
He subbed in his best three point shooters and was going to force USC defenders to help off of their best pick and roll offensive combo.
if Payne was open Clark takes the pass for the two to tie.
If they were too aggressive on any kind of help they were going for the win with a 3 point attempt.
But that’s the play that presented itself.Going to Payne wasn’t the play. Sha said he wanted Clark driving it.
Really poorly officiated game and it cost us. Very frustrating.Tough, tough way to lose. The soft foul called against Payne (did he even tough him?) and then the wrong out of bounds call. Woof.
USC could drive with impunity the whole second half. No need to worry about execution when you go to the free throw line anyhow.Really poorly officiated game and it cost us. Very frustrating.
Exactly. That’s why Sha needed to get Clark out when he picked up his second foul. bad job by Sha.OFF the leg non review in an era where everything is reviewed was an Egregious Error. The game was on National Television. The foul in the corner was puzzling. USC deserved to win, but that was atrocious officiating with so many bailouts.
The Clarke 3rd foul, his fault changed the way SHU played defense almost the rest of the game. Hopefully, that loss wont come back to haunt us. Aside from that, very proud of the team. Finally, we are back to high IQ basketball players instead of nonsensical guys still learning game experiments.
Yes, because if Payne got fouled there wasn't a chance he was going to hit both. Short of an uncontested dunk he should not see the ball.Going to Payne wasn’t the play. Sha said he wanted Clark driving it.
