He said he hasn’t installed much offense, because his focus was defense over the summer. Yikes.
I don’t disagree. The problem is that everyone lights us up from 3. Tonight isn’t an anomaly & it better be addressed if Pope wants to see the 2nd weekend of the NCAAT.

Pope has that same thing Cal did putting in weird lineups.
Garrison really brings nothing to the table, MSU cannot miss despite being a crappy shooting team, and we can’t rebound to save our lives. Otherwise, going great so far.
Why in the world would you run your offense through Garrison a player that cant pass dribble or shoot? I thought this Fueger was supposed to be the mad scientist of offense. He just might be all hat and no cattle.
Sort of wonder if not having the 5th year seniors / Covid year now, is giving just the slightest edge back to the younger players now. Not that it affects this game per se..
But last year Butler, Carr and Jrob were all 5th year players. Thats another year older and more conditioned and another year of college basketball under your belt.
We beat a lot of teams last year with that experience IMO. Duke game being a big example for me.
