I think Schrader was moved to wide out last year and started. Just overheard his dad telling someone that. Now, having never watch a single play of Bridgewater football in my life, I cannot confirm this with 100% positive accuracy. Still see nowhere in this entire post of anybody saying Green can or will play tight-end at the next level. Seems like that's been your big counter argument, although nobody on here suggested it.I see no where in this thread where the poster has a coherent argument. His only argument is, if you are not a coach, then don't comment on Green or Giles. Literally, that his is premise. That's a false premise. Regardless, I stand by my two points. Giles does not throw it much, and yes, the poster initially argued they kind of do throw it, then backed away from that. Additionally, Green is a d lineman at the next level. That's all. That's it. Nothing more. As for Dakota Schrader, unless something has changed, he plays or played DB at Bridgewater and not WR in college. As for Nathan Tanner, he was listed by the recruiting services as a RB and of course, I recall him racking up big yards while at Giles as a RB. If he played WR in college, it was small college, and he was moved to WR after he got there. Oh yea....."just sayin." Again, your response about WR's for Giles kind of even proves my point in that, you don't throw it much. I get it....you Giles fans love to take on those not from Giles or whatever your thing is, but please don't do it at the expense of sounding so stupid you will argue just for the sake of argument, especially when a poster states, "Giles doesn't throw it much. " For the love of God, just agree and then, argue about something else, but your disagreement just in order to disagree makes you look foolish.

To answer your question, There have been a couple of backs at Giles that were good passers. The Milton kid, in the mid 90's and the Cook kid in the mid 2000's. And Giles did win state both years when those 2 guys were seniors. Their coaches know when they have the talent to put it in the air a little and when they don't. A perfect game for Giles on any given Friday is to win without attempting a pass, and they've done that many times. Now as for passing teams in this area in A and AA ball, there are very few teams that throw a lot and very, very few that throw a lot and are successful year in and year out. Most of the teams down this way that run a spread, are still primarily running teams that like to spread the defense to open up running lanes. But throw enough that you have to spread the "D" to respect the pass. Other than maybe Richlands, can you name a small school in SWVA that throws a lot and has been successful.LOL, my argument, "nothing counter about it" but statement, call it an argument if you want is.....Giles doesn't throw it much. That was the primary argument that the poster chose not to discuss other than calling me names, personally attacking me, and asking me if I were a coach. All in all, he started off by arguing how Giles throws it, then backed away from the argument. From that point, the discussion was over. Game over. I had won. Equally imporant, when you gave your "disclaimer" about "completely reading the post" in an attempt to come off as a "fair and equal observer", lol, you didn't mention that you were in fact.....a Giles fan. Is that not somewhat equally imporant as well. LOL. Again, it shows how disingenuous you are and your attempt at looking "neutral" is foolish. Last key point, when I mentioned Green was a D line guy in college, the poster kept attacking and argued that I "knew nothing." Any person with a brain can deduce that....if poster A is making a point and poster B responds with verbal assaults, then poster B is not in agreement with poster A's point. So in summary, yes, the TOOL was disagreeing that Green will play DL in college. Additionally, I never wrote that Giles wouldn't line him up at TE. I have no idea about that. Don't really care either. Put him at QB for all I care. What I said was.....and I repeat....two points....He will play defensive line in college. It's irrelevant where he plays at Giles this year on offense. I don't care. Have no argument about it. Have no concern. He will play defense in college. Additionally, Giles still doesn't throw much.
Finally, whey you write the words, "nobody on here" suggested it, again, playing to the audience. There were two people in the conversation, me and tool from Giles. Nobody would seem to be...3, 4, 5, or 6 people. I couldn't care less what "nobody" suggests or doesn't suggest. I wrote he would play defense in college and was attacked for that. The offensive TE part is irrelevant.......you also know that, but are attempting to muddy the waters. Let me ask you and see if I can get a coherent and cogent answer from a Giles fan.
Over the years, has Giles passed it much? Compared to the teams it has played at its level across the State, Div 2/Class 2/AA, etc.

You took him to the woodshed lol...sure ya did
And I doubt any giles fan cares where your wife is from to be honest...what does that have to do with anything?
Where you from I am just interested...not trying to start anything
Jusy drop it. This guy keeps saying he won the argument when nobody is a arguing with him on the points he keeps making. And he won't say where he's from. We are lucky. We come from a place where we are proud to back our team and have been for nearly 40 yearsYou took him to the woodshed lol...sure ya did:![]()

No garbage. Green will play DL at next level. That's not garbage unless Duke and recruiting services are garbage, and....Giles doesn't throw it much. That's a fact. You have one fact and one that will be a fact in 2-3 years. Facts aren't "dumb." They are facts. 2+2 actually does equal 4, regardless of whether the response is calling the person who does the math a "dumbass" or yells or asks if you were a coach or where you are from. Facts always win arguments and opinions don't. But to get back on track to take the mud out of the water....my original points were..
1. Giles doesn't throw it much. Fact.
2. Green will play DL in college. Opinion right now, but soon to be fact.
For some reason, few Spartans fans are angered by the above two statements which truly are two common sense statements the overwhelming portion of fans, and likely including the Giles Coaching staff would agree with. By the way, the HC, a fairly close friend of mine I still speak with on e or twice a year in which I attended Church Camp with every summer for about 11 years in our youths. And....a smart man, great coach, but more important, a great Christian man that I like a lot.
My recommendation is to let the disagreements on this topic end here.
Thank you.
Doesn't seem to be any disagreements, but somebody is having trouble figuring that outMy recommendation is to let the disagreements on this topic end here.
