Think I am going to buy a new Ping Craz E putter - want a face balanced putter
But hacks me off because I used to have one and sold it years ago. Think Ping just started making them again after a long break
Do not but played a bit with a buddy's and I was surprised how much it helped my backswing. By that, I use a wing blade putter and I can feel the waggle/unsteadiness going back and with this thing it's a steady as can be. May get one for myself but not thrilled laying down $400-600 of one right now.I just ordered an OZ1.i does anyone own a LAB putter?
3 I think but also 4Question I’ve been meaning to ask in this group for a while.
Do you tend to play:
1) A bowed wrist?
2) Cupped?
3) Flat?; or
4) Do even notice or give a ****?
I went from a Scotty to a used Ping I picked up at Edwin Watts.Think I am going to buy a new Ping Craz E putter - want a face balanced putter

I have done the putter trials/errors/purchases/trade-ins for years. I always come back to my old Ping Wack E.
I know two people currently using one and about a dozen more who have tried them before moving on to something else. The only one I would consider an above average putter that uses a LAB uses the LINK 1, which is their most traditional looking putter.I just ordered an OZ1.i does anyone own a LAB putter?
I just realized recently how awful my lower body movement has been in comparison to everything above my waist. Everything I tried with my wrists, takeaway and all the upper body movements but same ****** results. I watch a lot of the swing videos when scrolling and came across this one of Bryson explaining a drill to work on getting your hips into your swing. Been working on this for a few rounds focusing almost solely on getting the left knee turned with my hips and planting the left foot as the transition at the top of my swing and it's allowing for more consistency and less over the tops.
Agree, I think you should try to turn your shoulders more than your hips. At least that's what I have always understood creates tension and adds power. I have overturned my hips which leads me to come way too much inside out and I have tried forever to stop that bad habit.i have tried it all when it comes to getting better rotation. My ball striking got good and consistent when I use a few simple thoughts. I love the wall or chair drill where (if you are right handed) your right butt cheek touches the wall or chair and then your left cheek on the downswing. Also imagine my left hip against a wall and try to keep it there during the backswing to prevent swaying. Def helps minimize early extension which is a problem with most amateurs.
From my experience it comes down to someone’s physical abilities and limitations. When I was young I did not have to turn my hips as much, still got a ton of shoulder turn and could get a lot of clubhead speed. With age, back problems, etc. I have had to make a bigger hip turn which also helps with my shoulder turn and I still can create good club head speed but my ball striking is better than it ever has been. I am an inside to out as well but I constantly have to remind myself to keep my shoulders square or slightly open since I have a bad habit of closing them too much. I swear, golf is like solving a rubik’s cube. Figuring out what works best for you is a lifelong journey. There is no 1 and only way. The pro’s are just better than us at figuring it out (plus the time to practice and play) ibut have their own demons they fight as well.Agree, I think you should try to turn your shoulders more than your hips. Ask the pro to take a look at my swing. I proceeded to hit a nasty hook. He said there was a piece of **** attached to my club. I took a towel and cleaned my clubface. The pro said, “I meant the other end of the club.”
Scottie's turn/position at the 33 sec. mark makes my back scream.

Almost horror story yesterday. On 2nd tee, group is waiting to tee off. We are waiting behind them. We are all waiting because group in fairway consist of two women who have never played before. Who books a 10 am Saturday tee time for newbies?
I call clubhouse and they don’t care. Group is a hole and a half behind on the second freaking hole!!1
Well, they finished the 2nd and 3rd holes and jumped to the 5th. They finish 9 holes and were done. Proceeded to have a 4 hour round thank god.
Ya newbies have no idea how difficult a regulation course is. Hit some off a driving range and go to a par 3 course before you decide to hit a regulation course.I am all for people learning to play, but go to a par three course for a while to learn how to play, not a regulation size course on a Saturday AM.
Homa did the opposite. Fired a 68 and followed it up with a smooth 79. Several players had very different results from round 1 and round 2. Wonder if tee times affected scores ? Tougher conditions from one day to the next based on time they played ?I played Erin Hills a number of years ago and so have been watching some of the US Womens Open. Place was hard as hell for me, but the leaders are at -8, and cut will most likely be +1, so they aren't having that much trouble.
It is a great course, but out in the middle of nowhere, hard to get to, there are also almost no trees, with huge greens and bunkers, looks and plays like a British Open course, but with lots of elevation changes.
Sort of read like an old man screaming "get off my lawn" to me as well. When he won his first US Open, there was no internet, social media or cable TV . . . oh yeah, and his first place prize money was $1400. Things have changed a slight bit since then.Jacks wrong. Media, the medium, has changed. We want access, personality, etc. it’s great for him to say when he’s the best and can do what he wants but it’s beneficial to the player and the sport to do. And btw, I know it’s his tournament, n]but please go away. He brings nothing to the broadcast.
He shoots a simple 2 under and nobody close. I didn’t even watch yesterday or today. Tired of see Scheffler win and no one challenging. Wish Rory had played this week. He could have made it interesting.Scheffler keeps racking up the wins. 3 in last 4.
