so the West wouldn't embarrass the rest of the league. For the record, the former West went 3-3 in the SEC-Big East Challange. The former East went 1-5.

Do you think the disparity is because the Big East is better than the SEC, or did bad matchups for the SEC teams play a big part? I tend to think it's a little of both but haven't followed it closely enough to really know.

I dont think you can honestly say there is any difference in those 4 teams right now- Vandy has had to play so far without big Festus- but he will be returning soon and will make them alot better inside. Florida has played 2 hellacious road games in Ohio St and Syracuse- and barely lost both. Bama is very good but struggles to make 3 point shots- that is their achilles. And we have Stands....the SEC gets 5 teams in the NCAA's with Mississippi on the bubble come March
