The one thing I will give to Bower that Fedora still has to get is getting the right assistants. That's a big part as to why Bower has had better defenses than Fedora has. No matter what Bower did though, he was not going to produce an offense near the caliber that Fedora had. Fedora's biggest issue was him being unwilling to get rid of Bradford, and now that he's over at Maryland, we see that his ineptitude wasn't just specific to Southern.<div>
</div><div>I don't like the guy, but from what I've seen of him and Bower personally, it's hard to say that Bower was the better coach for me. Another advantage I'd give Fedora is that he wasn't afraid to try his hand at some of the bigger recruits in the area. Bower never would have gone for the DeAndre Brown types or even the QB from California, Ricky Lloyd. Because of those reasons, I really can't say Bower was the better coach. He's a prick, but Fedora knows his **** when it comes to offense.</div>
