Hearing lots of folks say this is going to be a closer game than expected. I'm still rolling with my Bears by 2 or more touchdowns. #6 will be hard to stop!

it positively will not be like the last several years; Bears got early lead and SST called it a night...veteran coach now on their sideline has made difference...
MA better be prepared to get punched in the mouth. South stokes will be PHYSICAL Coach Diamont won’t let it happen any other way. MA better find a way to get their speed to the edges because if this ends up a slug fest between the tackles they could be in for a long night!!
Physicality wont be a problem. They wont have an answer for #6 in the open field.....
I agree that’s why I said MA has to get their speed (referring to Smith) to the edge and get stops defensively can’t let Coach Diamont get 3 yards and a cloud of dust and eat the clock away.
2012 was the last Saura victory over the bears. Not sure what happened prior to that. Think Sauras only have 5 wins total against the bears is what I heard earlier in the week.
It was actually 2011 South won 28-17 at South. In 2012 South lost to the Bears 35-13 in Mt Airy. South's only 2 conference losses in 2012 was to N Surry and Mt Airy not counting their playoff loss to East Surry.
What did I tell you. Diamont or not,, its the same South Stokes. They always have BIG linemen but never play up to their potential for some reason !!!

Potential?? Were they picked to win the conference or something? They have not had a winning season since 2012. They have 5 wins so far this season including an opening season win against a good West Stokes team that will probably win the 2A WPC this season. Obviously over matched tonight but certainly heading in the right direction.

I really hope they have turned it around and are headed in the RIGHT Direction ,,, Time will tell. I have seen them for years. They are usually BIG and Athletic but do not play up to their potential in Football for some reason . Why,, I have no Idea !!!
I think you meant to direct that at ESODcards. I have only made one post in this thread. I have been following South for years and have not seen the potential you have. I know a lot of the kids and never thought they were that big and athletic except for 2011 and 2012. As far as their lineman they have been mostly slow fatbodies (no offense to the kids because they are good kids but what I have mostly seen). Hopefully Diamant can get more out of them in the weight room during the off season and make real lineman out of them.

Congrats to the Bears. They continue to get better each week. Sauras has nothing for them tonight. South struggled to move the ball and didn’t tackle well at all. Smith is hard to bring down. Really missed Gonzalez tonight on D who is out for season now.
Daaaaa Bears!!!!!!! Talked to Diamont bf the game what a good person. He talked about his players like they were his kids. Class act coach.
