Maybe, just maybe, he put Grayson back in to force him to deal with a bad situation that he had just created. I have no idea why K put him back in. Maye it was an attempt to force him to control his emotions. Maybe that is a stretch, but do you really think that K put him back in to save the day for Duke? Do you really think K put him back in because he thought he needed Grayson to play to win that game? Maybe, just maybe, it was a teachable moment.

I remember seeing GA's arm swinging and wondering if he hit the other player. Then there was only 2 replays and there's no way Coach K saw that. I guess haters are gonna hate. I didn't agree with K playing Grayson in the 2nd half, but he showed his wisdom by sleeping on it and getting all information before making a hastened decision.
In the replay, the trip clearly comes from behind the Elon player, yet the impact causes him to move back and to the left. Back... and to the left...

Can anyone think of a single example where a player got a technical foul but was not kicked out, and was then held out of the game by their coach? Like, one single example. Just one.
Is he being held out for the trip or the tantrum? If it's for the tantrum it happens a lot. Off the top of my head I remember Pitino suspending a player after he faked getting elbowed in the face by a UK player. But again, I can't say for sure that's why he was suspended. Guys get suspended all of the time in professional sports for plays that weren't even penalized in the game for whatever reason.

This has nothing to do with him punching the seat on the bench... K was talking to refs when that happened, he wasn't sitting at his tv with a camera zoomed in on Grayson.

Probably. But I don't think people would saying he should have missed the rest of the game if this had been the first incident anyway. If this had been the first time I don't think people would be saying he should have sat the rest of the game.
