We shouldn't forget; these are teenagers who played their hearts out. The fighting Scots had a great season and can hold their heads high. A 14-1 record and conference champs is plenty to feel good about.

Charlotte Observer said 1770+yrds and 26 TDs
Makes you really appreciate how good Hood was though. As a junior he had 3300 yards rushing and 48TDs...and he played defense too.

80 some for the CF GAME ON 14 carries i believe, 2/3 of those yards on 1 run

White only avg 12 or so carries a game. Is numbers could be off the charts, easy.
I agree, great season for SC. I know they are disappointed because they knew they had a special group but it is very difficult to win it all and it wasn't there year. Great season.

Only 12 a game? I know most of their games were blowouts but what was his YPC?

White played in 12 games and had 188 carries for 1779 yards with an avg per carry of 9.7

White could have easily had 3500 plus yards. Smart for the coaches not to give him the ball 25-30 times a game when you don't need to. I think next season will be the same. McQueen will be a Jr and will see a similar work load.
