-Cal would go right at Wiltjer every time, just like Stallings did. To the point they'd have to sit him.

-Great comparison, as joshy pointed out, with the hockey style dump the puck in.

-Ca's been forcing these dudes to dump the ball in, it's all we do. Good luck locking that up. It's not like our bigs are turning it over at a high clip anymore. They're passing it out or to each other.

-Still though. They talk about forcing our shots outside but: #1 that's really playing with fire and #2 that's not really worked in the past.

Also, if you spread us with your bigs on the perimeter then drive, unless you have 10 NBA players on your team you're going to have jello legs the last 8 minutes.

On that note, there isn't one specific feature of a team that is going to beat us. You are going to have to catch us on a night where we aren't hitting jumpers, you have multiple players shooting lights out and Willie is disinterested. All of those are going to have to happen to win. I really don't think there is a right answer as far as speeding us up or hitting outside shots.

Another interesting thing about that article: Nothing about Andrew Harrison.

Lots of praise heaped on Tyler Ulis, and all of it deserved. But nothing on Andrew Harrison except "they're better with him off the floor". Cal has more than made up for it in every interview he's ever done, but I just found it interesting that Andrew Has been playing lights out for about a dozen games now and nobody that could provide quotes had noticed or were willing to give credit.

One thing to remember about CBB coaches is that many of them are absolutely terrible at what they do.

Took the entire week off this week. I have never taken a week's vacation before. Not even during my wedding/honeymoon, which is extremely sad.

Had an entire list of things to do, and thus far i've taken 2 naps and eaten a box of samoas.

Possible upsets in round 1.

SF Austin over Utah

Wyoming over N. Iowa Larry Nance Jr. is a baller and they play d.

E. Washington over Georgetown They will have the best player on the floor. Tyler Harvey can do it all. They have other nice pieces also, score a bunch of points.

MSU is peaking. Sorry Dawgs.
I think Ole Miss beats BYU, then an overvalued Xavier team.
Arkansas over Wofford by double-digits
I don't trust Gottfried, but I trust Jones less. Wolfpack in that one.

Know the man loves to eat and his daughter has shed light on how he's nothing but a carnivore with no time
for veggies but even my junk eating *** is amazed by Cal sometimes...

Every day it seems like it's something along the lines of..

" Want give major thanks to the folks at Wagon Bones BBQ for lunch today. Your Mac N Cheese was ridiculous. "

Gonzaga is really good at pretty basketball. That's fine. When the shots are falling they're great & fun to watch. Like a less athletic Duke.

They won't get the same looks like they get in that finesse conference and most of their players can't guard statues.

Kids are different out there. Not nearly as tough.

There's been a lot of talk about Notre Dame and their ability to score, make a **** load of threes, and possibly upset us. I'm still waiting for the analysis on how they are going to hold us under 85 or so.

Their defense is pure unfiltered **** and that is why they have almost no chance to beat us. If my math is correct 15 threes = 45 points. Give them another 20 points on twos and 10 points on free throws. 75 points is about their best day against us if we are fully engaged (which we will be). That's not enough to beat this UK team with their garbage defense.

At some point I realized that I'm not going to be overly nervous about a UK game unless the point spread is 8 or under. Anything over that, I don't see this team losing. Was a little antsy about yesterday's game until the line opened at 14, then I remembered "oh yeah, we're a ****-ton better than them." I'm sure I'll still be on edge, but man, trust Vegas.

Just saw an article that said we'd be favored by at least 5½ over any team in the field, and by double digits in every game before the Final 4.

And from that article...

The Anthony Davis-led Kentucky team that lost two games and won the national title in 2012 would be favored by 3.5 points against this year's team, according to a consensus of Vegas oddsmakers and bettors tabulated by RJ Bell of Pregame.com, a leading betting website. So, too, would the 1991 UNLV team that went unbeaten before losing to Duke in the national semifinal game.

Arkansas-UNC, if it happens, might be the most enjoyable non-UK 40 minutes of basketball the whole tournament.

Pangos playing against elite guards isn't going to work either. Selling big time. Bell is the only defender on that team.

Michigan State by 6-8 over Georgia

BYU over Ole Miss in a 80-75 type game.

LSU over NC State on a late bucket 75-73 type game

Arkansas will boat race Wofford 15+

Dark horse / Cinderella - SMU

Wisky had better not sleep on Oregon

Oklahoma could bounce Virginia, IF they get by Michigan State before they face the Sooners

First round long shot to possibly pull a upset, New Mexico State over Kansas

Of course she has a movie or whatever coming out. Makes sense. Also is she just wearing the same thing every day like wcc? Same white shirt all weekend and again today on msnbc. I like Judd but man she's pushing it.

-the bitching about social media is getting old to me. If you don't care for it get off. Obviously people are going to say mean stuff. No that it's right but if you want to voice your opinion then it's part of it right now.

-john Oliver crushing the ncaa is pure gold. I love British humor when I can understand them.

You mean like you're lucky shirt and underwear you wore all weekend?

This whole Ashley/Vitale thing is just gross. Really wish I'd never seen it. I appreciate her fandom, but some hot new Starlet please step up. And come on Playboy, waiting on the Kindly spread

Hate them both. Little bitches both of them.

I also hate Laettner, but it isn't because of the shot. It is because of all the other crap he pulled, all the while acting like Saint Christian. He was seriously a sanctimonious prick.

Duke has never been high on my list of hated teams. UNC, yes. HATE them above all, but Duke usually had my respect. That said, Laettner can DIAF.

I think fanbases go a long way in how I hate a program...

IU, UL, KU, and even UNC.. All these programs have some pretty awful fanbases who are hypocritical and moronic. They will spew whatever vitriol they can muster in our direction solely because of their jealousy. Not because of their sanctimonious beliefs, however hard they try to convince themselves... It is because we get the best recruits and then we beat them over their heads with 'em. Plain and simple.

I really don't care if someone picks another team to win it all. I get it and there are some really good teams out there- Arizona, Duke, Wisconsin, etc. BUT, it's hilarious the cliche MFers who actually did pick against the Cats. Just shocking- Goodman, Gottlieb and Forde.
Get pumped.

add Jay Williams to the list I guess. was on this morn with Mik & Mik bemoaning that we havent faced pressure yet like we will face in the next few weeks! what's Kentucky gonna do when they are down by 7 with 10 min left, huh? panic and stress, of course!

Just so dumb. don't see how it helps those guys careers to be contrarian trolls with no facts to back it up. UK's the best team, could get beat by one of the 1's or 2's come Final 4 time but unlikely, they are the odds on fav to win the title, end of opinionating.

- Oh, and add Thamel, of course.

- I've never been one of those paranoid freaks who think everyone hates UK, but there are a handful who definitely do, and ironically, they all think we're going to lose.

- In my defense, my stuff was at BBdK's brother's house but BBdK got booted from Legends without my knowledge, leaving me stranded. Luckily, PTI took me in for the night. By the time, I woke and pieced my life together Saturday morning, it didn't make much sense to rush back to change with the game coming up at noon. I did take a shower. Then on the Sunday drive home, who cares.

- I just don't get the hostility toward Judd. She's been a good ambassador for UK for years. She has a few different political opinions than you- so what? 90% of my friends in this conservative area think differently than me. Never been a problem. Still think they're great people.

And, as I've said before, I've sat directly behind her at an exhibition game before, so that puts to rest the accusation that she's some frontrunner.

I don't consider Jay Williams a UK hater. I just consider him an idiot. Seems like a nice guy, but I don't respect his opinion.

The thing about sportswriters is that they like to think or at least try to act like they're smarter than the fans- which they're not. Just because they majored in journalism doesn't mean they know more about basketball than some engineer or finance guy. I think they're insecure because they know about 20% of the sports fan population could adequately do their job.

Anyway, so these idiots- the same guys who do stuff like belong to EPL fantasy leagues- HAVE to make the "smart" pick in the bracket. What's the smart pick this year? Of course- it's picking against Kentucky.

It's the tournament now. Everybody will be facing "panic and stress" - you know, the same stuff UK has had to deal with for the past two months with this undefeated streak. To me, UK is as prepared for this as anyone.

- I suppose the "pressure" is as good of reason as any, but these "experts" seem to forget how well our backcourt played in the most pressure-packed run I've ever seen last year.

- I need more out of CenturyCat right now. Where the hell are ya? GeeseFeeder needs to provide more content, too, for that matter. And would it be too much for AfroGerman Santa to make a damn appearance?

- Ran into Drummond in Nashville. Always good to see that dude- one of the best, if not the best in the business covering UK.

How do you know how the Harrison Twins are going to react in a pressure packed situation? Who is Kentucky going to go down 1 with a minute left and they need a big shot? Not enough basketballs to make this crew happy.

-I don't hate Judd, certainly nothing to do with her political affiliation, but I do find it funny when she appears back on the scene as a new movie is coming out. I think that along with trying to use her UK fandom as a platform to run a political campaign, while she lives in a different state, rubs some UK fans the wrong way.

-Pressure is the only thing they can pick at us about. Honestly, what else is there? Because we weren't on the ropes at UGa, LSU, UF and TAMU in front of rabid crowds. We'll have fan advantage from here on out.

-I don't think Williams in a UK detractor. He's just all in on Zona, no problems there. The others are douche bags.

You know what the biggest question mark is to this team winning it all? The fact that there are some really good teams out there. It's not often 7 teams have a decent claim to a one seed. I really like everyone on the top 2 lines besides Kansas.
