Speaking of deep dish, Chicago pizza pie. I was in Orlando last week and saw my favorite Chicago pizzeria, Giordano's sitting at an intersection. Had no idea they started doing franchise outside of the windy city. Excited to taste that little bit of heaven, we went in and had an amazing "Special" that tasted just like it does in Chicago. Amazing. I knew God had wanted me to see this franchise that he wanted me to open one up in Lexington. That dream lasted until I found out that you have to have $3 Million in assets and be $1 Million liquid for the opportunity to open a Giordano's. God didn't give me enough cheese for that unfortunately.

Damn, that's like 5 Yeti Coolers and a dozen tumblers. :pizza:

Really should've rethought the decision to get married on Labor Day weekend all those years ago. Really is a pain.

Wife: "So where are we going for our anniversary on Saturday night?"

Me: "I was thinking we'd go out Thursday night. Or maybe Friday. Sunday would work too, since it's a 3 day weekend."

Wife: "Yeah, but Saturday's the best night to go out."

Me: "I know, but Saturday nights are always so packed everywhere."

Wife: "So? It'll be fine."

Me: "Plus, Alabama plays Saturday night, which means Bammers will be all over the place, and I know how much they get on your nerves."

Wife: "No, I really don't care abou-- ::lightbulb goes off:: Wait a minute. What time does Kentucky play Saturday?"

Me: "Huh? Oh, I don't know. Haven't really thought about it. Noon, maybe? 6:00 CST on ESPNU? Not sure, to be honest."

Wife: "WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO REVOLVE AROUND SPORTS GOSH I HATE SPORTS AND YOU."

Isn't Cincy getting a few Giordano's?

Knowing Saturday is what it is, you should have ALREADY planned something extra special for Friday or whenever that you couldn't get out of and presented it to her all excited-like....she'd have never thought anything of it.

Woodford... My old man met you at the national alumni conference back in June.

He called me as if he's just met The Pope. He's a huge fan. Think he signed up for twitter solely bc of you.

Meh, I was way out in front on the bourbon craze & now all these fly by wanna be bourbon fools line up to get 1 of the 6 bottles each stores releases. I used to be able to walk into 3 or 4 local stores I frequented & get everything I wanted with no hassle. Now it's all a big hustle & people charging ridiculous secondary prices. BS

Harris was way out in front of being a Bourbon Loving Kentuckian.

Just when I think he can't get any more amazing, he drops that on us.

That's impressive, Todd. How did you do it?

He was probably the only person in line at Churchill/Keeneland wagering once upon a time before that caught on around here, too. Incredible.

I remember when i started drinking bourbon it was me and a buddy, a pint of beam, and one can of coke. Back and forth until it was gone and then a bike ride to chi-chi's to eat free chips and salsa.

*Does TMFH work? Seriously, I have no idea. Almost seems like he won the lottery or something. I've never seen one reference to what he does. My guess is family money and professional schmoozer.

<-----Jealous.
No family money for me, at least not yet. My parents have done very well for themselves, but I have earned every penny I have, worked throughout college, & had 5 summers of laborer work to know why I didn't want to do that for a living. My wife & I have been smart in our careers, invested well, made sure we can provide for our kids & live a good life. Basically just worked hard to get where I am & making sure I enjoy as much of life while I can with some of the nicer things. Quite generous & glad to help out friends/family whenever I can too.

Sorry, should've said it was just a repair. Damn sink came loose from the countertops. Crazy. Not putting in stone, just trying to get it resealed correctly. 80, you think that's who we should contact? I'd do it but I think to be done proper the sink will need to be pulled.
-SAE thinks of some weird ****. I have a shop full of contractors and I don't think it's interesting that they leave cups full of dip spit, old drinks, water bottles, cig butts or every other random *** piece of trash laying all over the place. It's not cute, it's terrible. They're disgusting animals. Ask 73 & 80.

Construction workers are a strange breed for sure. I feel like I spend a solid 3 hours a week picking up after those sloppy bastards. Love them though, nothing more rewarding than sitting back and looking at something you've built.

About 2 years ago in Louisville they went through a phase were they would just draw dicks on everything. Literally everything. Peoples name tags, vans, walls, furnaces, uniforms. Dicks everywhere. MCF could probably go on for days on this topic.

We've had the same thing here with dicks on everything.

This guy became a fixture around our shop for a while too.

25,000 tickets remaining for a USC/UNC Thursday night opener per PAW? Wow.
Kids today with their facetweeting and XBones and such don't like going to live sporting events.

The future is 10,000 capacity, all-loge seating with 56 different HD camera angles for the viewers at home. Players will wear micro sensors on their jerseys which will cause your phone to vibrate when they're hit (assuming you're following them on twitter. This is the future. You heard it here first.

It wasn't hard to figure out Woodford. Said he was going to SEC media days then there was a picture/tweet that surfaced with NJT - the only UK fan in attendance.

Speaking of NJT do you get to monetize on a Twitter with 37k followers?

I have this fantasy where I go buy a nice lawn mower and go around cutting grass for people all day. No one bothers me with small talk. No one looks at any "numbers". I just listen to zac brown band on some headphones and cut grass and bake in the sun. And also I dip a lot

I had that same dream once, but in this dream it got hot as hell, mexicans and 12 year olds started quoting work below costs, and there was no work to do between November and early March save the sporadic snowstorm. The next year I didn't have that dream again.

I had no idea Maxwell Smith was still playing, let alone the starting QB at San Diego State.

Good for that little rascal.

Still think Harris won the lottery or blackmailed someone.

What's up with Mike Hartline? Hartline, Gillispie, Joker, Porter, etc.....man, thank goodness for Randall Cobb during that period. Dark times.

Finished Narcos yesterday... It's really good, but its tougher to really enjoy as much as some of their other shows because everyone knows how it works out for Escobar. Some have complained that its mainly in Spanish as well, even though they conveniently provide you with subtitles.
