Ever since I was a young boy,
I've played the silver ball.
From Soho down to Brighton
I must have played them all.
But I ain't seen nothing like him
In any amusement hall...

That deaf, dumb and blind kid
Sure plays a mean pinball!

As a kid, pretty much all arcade games revolved around Galaga.

Also crushed Spy Hunter, Operation Wolf (shooting game), and Afterburner.

Highly recommend.

ESPN ending "cover alerts" amidst concerns from the NCAA.

But, they were doing that stuff all along, right? [eyeroll]

Afternoon Hot Takes:

- You can't beat the excitement and atmospheric buzz when you leave the tailgate to head to Commonwealth for the game- especially when you're completely schnockered, double-especially when you've just knocked back a shot of Patron from Uncle Ben's trunk.

- I like what Mizzou brings to the SEC on color scheme alone.

- I like the Ryan Adams "1989" cover album. I'm generally pro-Adams, while not being a full-fledged fan.

- When did teens decide to make a production of every "ask" to a high school dance? Co-worker's son is a freshman and apparently you can't just ask a babe to Homecoming- you need a gimmick. Being the longtime office bachelor, she asked me for advice. My advice- might as well jump in and start getting dem reps. You have 15 years of trying to get play off hussies. Develop a thick skin and saddle up, partner.

- RE: Children's names. I'm glad JACK has made a comeback, but could do without CHARLIE and HENRY. Just one man's take.

- Annoying Things Females Do On Social Media #776- the photo&brag post when they get flowers or something from their boyfriend/husband.

Worst game of ALLTIME.

I mean, nothing even happened. Received this with my NES along with Zelda, and of course Mario/Duck Hunt.

One of the best days of my life, TS.

That wasn't Sarah's angle on Adnan at all. She couldn't even decide for herself in the end...

Looking forward to hearing more about the guys who died trying to rescue this deserter...and why Obama traded a bunch of bad guys for his release.

They used to shoot deserters.

Little Bro's ex-girlfriend of 15 months makes her debut on 'Nashville' tonight...will be a part of Juliette's entourage for 6 episodes.

Not ashamed to admit I like that cheesy show. :flushed:

-Narcos tho :fire::fire::fire: Crazy to think about much of that story/events being true.

#1 reason (other than looks) I knew bbdk and his bro were related. we had the following conversation...

me = hi

alex = dude, you seen my girlfriend? bro. seriously. she's touching HOT. like, crazy hot. sick dude. here, let me show you this ****. you see that? hold on, look at this pic. total smoke show. I mean she's probably top 10 hottest girls in nashville. maybe top 5. people talk about kindly all the time, and she's decent. okay, she's dope, but she's not as dope as my girl. and I know kindly. I mean she's cool. were friends. like we hang out. I mean I can call her right now. look, here's her number. we hang out and stuff, whatever. but she's good. my girl, though. bro. ridiculous. easily the hottest girl I know. hold on, you're gonna flip. lemme show you this pic of her at halloween. dude people were going nuts. here's another one. here's a pic of her at work too. I mean, she's a 9.5 easy, and that's not even a good pic. I pretty much walk into the club like what's up? I mean how would you like walking around with that? smoke. just sick hot.

me = want a beer?

Bringing an effing boombox to the golf course may be the stupidest thing I've heard in some time. Golf is golf. It's not near as stuffy as it was 30 years ago but my God.

I mean if you want some whatever tunes to distract you playing golf, then maybe you don't need to be out there in the first place. Stay home and keep your Yeti Colster on the back deck, gaffots. OHHH LOOK AT ME IT'S SOUNDLINK.30 AUDIO BASSE FROM BOZE IT'S MID LEVELS ARE SICK YOU CAN REALLY HEAR ME COMING ONCE I MAKE THE TURN LOL

Learn place/time. TMFS.

Silence Ho.

I'm always respectful on the course. I turn off the music when near any other group and never go above a sensible level.

Now If I ever have the pleasure to play a round with you, I may make an exception and blast this ***** and throw Yeti cups at you in your back swing.

I'll post in English next time, my bad. Megan Miller, not the blonde sloot.

My lil bro definitely drives me NUTS sometimes, especially that day. Sweet kid, but he's like Butthead when he talks, despite being a borderline genius...constant laugh track going on in the background, too. Most excitable/talkative/happy person I've ever known, and he's like that 100% of the time.

Definitely didn't inherit Dad & I's grumpy gene, he's much more Uncle Ben.

I know most everyone hates the whole Big Blue Madness camp out but is there anything stopping me from showing up Wednesday morning on my way to work, dropping off a pop up tent, getting my number, and then come back Friday night to pick up my tickets?

Aside from the fact that you can just get similar tickets online?

I haven't went since Cal's first year but every time I got tickets through Ticketmaster they were terrible. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to go out of my way to get good tickets but I'm within a 5 minute walk of Memorial.

Would Louisville, Cincy area or Lexington area posters win a game of trivial pursuit GENUS I?

Keep in mind Cincy has Willy, Lexington has Bob, and Louisville has Adrian. Oh yeah, and Lexington has adam.
