Was really impressed watching Dalton last night. His release was super fast, whipping the ball outside. Expected we were gonna try and do stuff like that this year...not so much.

If the O line isn't giving Towles any time, hard to imagine Barker could do much better.

The problem with Towles is that even when he does have time, he's still inaccurate and makes shaky decisions. But then he'll bust out some NFL-level sideline throw that just makes you shake your head. He's a bit like Jake Locker in that regard.

Patrick Towles is still making the same mistakes he did as a true freshman. He obviously is at his ceiling. If Kentucky gets ran AGAIN this week and Towles looks inept like he has pretty much 3/4 of the season fans will want a QB change and they should get it.

Barker was the face of the 2014 recruiting class. If he is what they thought he would be it is time to give it a go. Can it be any worse than what we are getting now?
He is making the same mistakes yes. But I think if the staff has not pulled him for Barker at his point, then they won't at any point this year unless he gets injured.

Stick with Towles, barring injury. Get to a crappy bowl and get an extra month of workouts for Barker. Open up the competition again in the spring. Pretty simple, really. Switching QBs rightnow isn't going to be the difference between an SEC East title and Shreveport.

There's a lot of dumb in the UK football fanbase, sorry/not sorry.

Shannon Dawson needs to get his head out of his ***, too. I'd love to go back and pull the fawning posts some of you buttholes made about him before we even took a snap.
One time I can be on the right side of a coaching call out. Never understood the love. He was essentially a waterboy under Dana.

Rack. Defending this hire by "letting him learn on the fly" is ********. You can't afford to let your offensive coordinator learn on the GD fly in the SEC. Way too predictable at times.

Isn't most of the coaching stuff learning on the fly? This is Stoops first HC, Elliot's first time as a DC.

Tried Wingzone for lunch. Not ending well right now.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Riley has Oklahoma a top 10 offense averaging over 200 yards rushing per game and 320 yard passing a game with a former Texas Tech Walk-on under center.

I thought it was common knowledge that when Pitino was at UK that he was often banging something down in Richmond.

You mean in all 5 of those games and 4 on a bum ankle? Granted he scored on his first ever drive against the Cowbells, I'm just not sure his true freshman year is your best frame of reference.

His stat line from that diarrhea infested season: 19/40 for 233 & 1/1

Meanwhile Lincoln Riley has Oklahoma

No.

Self also said this:
"Asked flat out if KU has actually received a ruling ( Diallo) and KU may be in an appeals process, Self said: “I can’t say. I’ve been told to let the process play (out).”

Do we need to make a list of places that doc should know will probably make him feel terrible if he eats there? Because Taco Bell breakfast and Wing Zone would definitely be on there.

Kind of like Dawson's draw play against Auburn, I gambled and lost.

Hope the Apiary treats me better tonight.

pulling Towles this weekend before the game is a blowout would be stupid. fully expect Barker to play in the 4th when we are down 4 tds.

if he doesnt move the offense the first couple of series next week against Vandy, get the hook ready

It's amazing in this era of hyper-political correctness idiots like Stephen A. Smith and Ray Lewis have jobs with a Disney-owned company.

Maybe crankdat should stick to hourly updates about UofL starting at 7 every morning, as annoying as it is he somehow gets worse when he shares his opinion on other topics.

You can't fire one of them.

You white people are so afraid of opinions different than your own.

If Ray Lewis was walking toward you with a bloody knife, you would probably cross the street.

If you don't understand the culture, you don't need to fire it or shoot it every chance you get.

See, this just doesn't make sense to me. I'm sure Rick knew parties we're going on at Minardi Hall, and they were bringing girls in to entertain their recruits, but if Rick knew they were actually using hookers instead of jersey chasers and didn't do anything about it, he's the dumbest MF'er in the history of the NCAA.

Actually, if he DIDN'T KNOW about the hookers, he's the dumbest MF'er in the NCAA. It's YOUR team, in the dorm you had built to honor your beloved BIL (so beloved you cheated on his sister). You're gonna trust a hoodrat like McGee? That's DUMB.

Dude knew. Again, it will never be proven. And I'm sure he kept his distance and didn't know the details. But he knew.

Also, Ray Lewis is pretty awful at his job. So is SAS but I guess he somehow gets ratings. Not sure what Lewis brings to the table. You could put an inanimate carbon rod on the NFL shows and I don't think the ratings would change all that much.

In his first year on UK's campus, Barker has gotten in trouble for walking around shooting air pistols or some nonsense, then put himself in a position to get KockedtheTOUCHOUT. So yeah, maybe the staff was a little bit wrong on him as the cornerstone of the 2014 class.

He'll probably mature - I hope. But I'd guess there's a good reason that he hasn't gotten any action yet. Seems like he's got Johnny Football's off-field talents but maybe not the on-field just yet.

Pretty sure Ray Lewis still being employed is like that Seinfeld episode where no one will fire Raquel Welch, so Kramer has to do it. Would you want to tell Ray Lewis he was canned? Dude definitely murdered someone.

Ray Lewis is bad, but the entire crew on the BFL Network's post game show last night was awful.

Michael Irvin was worse than Lewis and Mooch was surprisingly horrible.

Also, whores.
