Cal's got guys on half the teams in the league now and half of those guys are franchise players. If he wants to go coach one or two of "his guys" in the pros it sure as hell won't be Sacramento and Cousins. Why would you want to go deal with Cousins when you could go coach Davis or Towns or Wall if the opportunity presented itself? Minnesota's coach is dead and Alvin Gentry is off to a worse start in New Orleans than Karl is in Sacramento.

Donovan had the right of it. Dude held out for 20 years and then slid into a team with two of the ten best players in the league on the roster.

ULSherriff says the UL/Kentucky football rivalry is more important...I'd probably think that too if we we're getting owned by Cal.

So wait, Norton's owns Kosair which happens to be on state owned land and because UofL has used it as their pediatric teaching hospital, they feel they have a right to evict them because Norton has partnered with UK? Is that state owned land actually owned by UofL? This is clearly a way to endear yourself to the community. While they're at it, can they go down to one of the local orphanages and kick all of those kids out too?

The UofL-Norton thing is where it's at as far as UofL's petulance and greed is concerned. Just a ton of snake oil there. Fun to read about, really.

My wife is actually affected by all of this and she's heard all of the angles. She's employed by UL healthcare as a resident but operates at Kosair.

Essentially UL does not want Norton to be able to train UK medical students or residents. The land Kosair sits on was granted to UL by the state a long a time
ago. UL uses Kosair as it's training ground for UL pediatrics & feels threatened by the newfound UK & Norton relationship. They want an exclusive partnership with Norton.

What's ironic & hypocritical is that UL struck a deal a few years ago with another network, Kentucky One Health.

Don't go chromecast.

-Go with the Roku streaming stick.
For sure. I use the chromecast more but for a simpleton Roku by a mile.

-Baptist may miss on nearly everything but the can put together a nice post funeral spread. That and 15 minute nuptials. I will give props on those 2.

-Karl is a tar heel but Cuz needs to cut that **** out. He's 5-6 years in and the leader of a franchise. Grow up.

-Maryland in the B1G:rolleyes: WVU waxed em last year. Big Ole False. Murray owned Fab. Double False.

Would be a good time for Norton to really go on a PR war on this. UofL supporters, faculty, and staff are suffering from battle fatigue. The faculty hasn't been big fans of Ramsey for a long time - a lot of discontent. Interestingly, the student population seems to like him a lot.

He will be back in college BB in <4 years.
Durant's gone this off season via free agency and the effect it will have on okc will be devastating..

No, the state owns the land. UofL is a party to the lease.

Currently, Norton manages Kosair Children's Hospital, which is staffed primarily with physicians from the University of Louisville's department of pediatrics and sits on leased, state-owned land. Last month, Norton Healthcare signed a collaboration agreement with UK Healthcare in Lexington, which prompted the University of Louisville to issue a letter to Norton claiming the organization to be in violation of lease terms that require a beneficial relationship between the University of Louisville and the lessee, according to a Business First report.

Whoops. Got it mixed up. There's something else to it along the lines that there's language in the lease agreement that states Kosair Hospital always act in the best interests of UL Med School.

The rub is UL's relationship is with Kosair, that is run by Norton. Guess Kosair couldn't go out and partner with UK Children's Hospital but technically Norton Healthcare can.

Damn, former Zona player Michael Wright found dead in his car. Probable homicide. He was the bulky lefty I think.

Southwest card just came in handy. Paid for 4 round trip tickets to D.C. in April for less than the 50K sign up bonus.

Guns N Roses rumored to be announcing a reunion tour.

Cincinnati announcing a "major" concert tomorrow.

Getting my hopes up but I know I'm going to be disappointed when the announcement is for something like two weeks of Jimmy Buffett shows.

Students had even started questioning whether it was appropriate to call the leaders of the university’s residential colleges “masters,” because they thought the term had connotations of slavery.

You've got to be f***ing kidding me.
