Awesome, maybe he will yank them after each incompletion and make them tougher on the sidelines.

I'm no college football but 80 Proof pointed something out to me at the UT game. We line up in the shotgun on every play. Typically in an "Air Raid" offense that operates out of the shotgun your O line will be set up where the individual lineman are separated out by so much space when they line up to give us max QB protection. However, we do just the opposite. Our lineman are bunched together when they lineup like we are a power running team working the QB under center.

Which is weird. Dawson has his lineman with hand on the ground ( to help a running game that is non existent) when almost all air raid o's give super wide splits to make the edge rush the longest distance possible to get to the QB.

^ hopefully Barker is good at comebacks... The staff has completely **** the bed with their handling of this situation all year.

* it's a heated competition!!!! Well, not really, we will not pull Towles short of an injury because it's his team
* game 1: "I want to get Barker a look early"... Just kidding guys
*game 3,4 or whatever it was : "Drew Barker WILL get some series this game" just kidding again guys
* you missed a block! Sit down... You got burnt! Sit down... No worries Patrick, you had guys drop balls and your line sucked, you're in no danger of missing snaps
* Dorian stop dropping passes! Now get back out there.... Timmons why are you terrified to catch punts!! Now get back out there

You want to know why there is a locker room divide? Different rules for different players is why. Stone cold lock

* Here's a hint for all you Basket Bennies, I mean Football Freddies out there.

We don't run the air raid or anything even remotely close to it.

* Just freaking win on Saturday. That's all I care about. Landon Foster could play QB and run the T formation for all I care.

* The era of Pokey the Cat may be coming to a close, soon. The cancerous tumor on his paw has returned yet again and he is bleeding a lot. Plus, he is now pulling out all of his fur on one side.

We had some blood tests run, but the lab lost them, so I get to go back to the vet today. They are talking about radiation treatments. Umm, no. It is a 15-yr old cat. No more surgeries and no radiation.

Hard decision, but if he is suffering at all it is time to say goodbye.

Also love how Stoops threw out it would be decided this week in competition... Just kidding guys, we know what we're doing as of Monday and its status quo during the week, 50/50 reps like it's been all year

Having a yes man/lap dog in DJ Eliot and BCG's brother as his coordinators has done nothing but hurt Stoops' future

Yeah ...his future is looking gloom.

I mean after this season he will have improved the win total each year with the first bowl berth in half a decade.

Hopefully his THIRD top 30 recruiting class in 2016 will help him keep his job.

Oklahoma State??? Harrington had a pretty good list until last last dud. Oklahoma would've been an okay choice since Hield will be a National POY front runner, but Travis is more likely to be fired in Stillwater than he is to be coaching in Houston on the first weekend in April.

Knowing that (a) most experts are picking Kansas, Maryland or UNC as champs, (b) we will likely be playing in a Louisville regional, and (c) Ulis is running our team makes me downright tingly in my nether regions.

The current depth chart has Kentucky returning 17 starters next year (kicker included) with 13 of those 17 sophomore or younger.

Can things be better? Yes.

Bottom line is you get to a Bowl Game and the season is a success.

I agree with all... Never said his future was "looking gloom"..

You can still be on the incline and hurt yourself

Win 2/3 = success
Win 3/3 = significant success

Doesn't change the fact that I don't think Eliot is the man for the job and I'm about ->|<- close to feeling the same about Shannon Clyde Dawson

Having "up and coming" (aka no real relatable experience) coordinators along side a first time head coach is hard enough at any school, it's exponentially tougher at UK football and that is what I mean by Stoops has hurt himself

SO, ROMEY. I ASK YOU... WHAT IF I TOLD YOU TYLER ULIS CAN BE THE BEST FLOOR LEADER POINT GUARD I'VE EVER HAD..... THINK ABOUT THAT, NOW. OK.

I'VE HAD D . ROSE, JOHN WALL, ERIC BLEDSOE & BRANDON KNIGHT. ALL THOSE DUDES ARE BALLING IN THE LEAGUE & TYLER MAY BE THE BEST FACILITATOR OF THEM ALL. WHAT?! YES, ROMEY. KID IS GOOD.

The best and easiest way to keep a defense off guard is run a up tempo offense, quick snaps, quick hitters. They can't make substitution adjustments. What do we do ? milk the play clock, give the defense plenty of time to read what we are doing and make subs for what the down calls for with our tendencies. It kills me watching it. Not so much a hurry up, but just a quicker tempo and get to the line and call plays.

^ Pretty strong UK football fan take there. It is why I am considering doing better, moving out of the endzone and becoming a major UK football investor.

At one point does Cal get his former players to commit to $40, $50, $60 mill + for a new arena, new something?
His former UK players have made probably close to a billion counting their contracts. And he is just getting started. Maybe that's his parting gift when he retires.

The next time GYERO wants to do a fundraiser, you should auction a day of hanging out with Richie.

November 14th football/basketball doubleheader with Richie. The day begins with wings and crafties at Hoots as the Football-Cats kick off at 4pm. Leave at halftime because of redass. Spend an hour or so pacing in the back yard, burning crispies and questioning God. Come to terms with God just as The Big O is really hitting his stride on the Tx Roadhouse countdown to tipoff. Go inside for a few old fashions by the fireplace as the Boys in Blue wax NJIT by 45 bigguns.

Anybody else here not believe in Maryland at all?
Definitely with you on that. They won't win the ACC, let alone make it to a Final Four. Melo Trimble is easily the most overrated player in college bball. Not sold on Mark Turgeon either.

I really wish I could be as awful at my job as Dana O'Neil and Jeff Goodman are. Wichita State and Cal??

I'll bet any amount of money with anyone that neither Maryland nor Virginia will win the title. I'd bet a reasonable amount that neither will make the Final Four.

They're in the Big 10, but they won't win that either.

Have seen nothing from Turgeon to suggest they can be elite. Good, yes, but this #1 talk is ridiculous.

I don't think there is anything more ridiculous than NAMING a preseason Final 4. Just give a Top 5 or something logical.

I'm sure this will piss a lot of people off, but the funeral for the Richmond police officer who was killed in the line of duty is disturbingly over the top. North Korea didn't put on as much pomp and circumstance to bury Kim Jong-il.

I'm glad you said it...

3 people died on that same street in one month and I never heard about those people.
