Cal's got guys on half the teams in the league now and half of those guys are franchise players. If he wants to go coach one or two of "his guys" in the pros it sure as hell won't be Sacramento and Cousins. Why would you want to go deal with Cousins when you could go coach Davis or Towns or Wall if the opportunity presented itself? Minnesota's coach is dead and Alvin Gentry is off to a worse start in New Orleans than Karl is in Sacramento.

Am I reading that right? U of L is trying to evict someone from a children's hospital they don't own?
So wait, Norton's owns Kosair which happens to be on state owned land and because UofL has used it as their pediatric teaching hospital, they feel they have a right to evict them because Norton has partnered with UK? Is that state owned land actually owned by UofL? This is clearly a way to endear yourself to the community. While they're at it, can they go down to one of the local orphanages and kick all of those kids out too?
The UofL-Norton thing is where it's at as far as UofL's petulance and greed is concerned. Just a ton of snake oil there. Fun to read about, really.

The fact that UL has to clarify everything they do now as ***** related/non-***** related is hilarious to me.
Would be a good time for Norton to really go on a PR war on this. UofL supporters, faculty, and staff are suffering from battle fatigue. The faculty hasn't been big fans of Ramsey for a long time - a lot of discontent. Interestingly, the student population seems to like him a lot.
He will be back in college BB in <4 years.

So UL's complaint is that they are in a lease that puts someone else's interest ahead of theirs?

Whoops. Got it mixed up. There's something else to it along the lines that there's language in the lease agreement that states Kosair Hospital always act in the best interests of UL Med School.
The rub is UL's relationship is with Kosair, that is run by Norton. Guess Kosair couldn't go out and partner with UK Children's Hospital but technically Norton Healthcare can.
The rub is UL complaining about an alleged one sided treatment in a lease agreement. That's richer than the inevitable chocolate fountain in the Yum Center club level lobby.
