Of course you could throw out all kinds of stats about our 1987 team to bolster your case rather than address the bet. If I like the bet I have $100 on it.

Like I said, 6+ seed is top half of the at large teams. I don't think all 8-9 seeds are in with ease. You want 10+ or first/last 4 in then I want 3:1.

Major concerns early on for me are:

defensive rebounding: like last year it was a major weakness that was never really fixed. Unsettling that it is happening again.

3 point shooting has been dreadful. Compared to how we looked in the preseason it's just stupid bad. We are giving the Wall team a run for its money.

Free throws. Down right infuriating to watch Briscoe and Lee shoot 33% and more reliable shooters miss because that **** is contagious. I have no clue how you can have Briscoe in late in a close game.

Hey, the overall athletic department has never been in better shape. I'm just glad we had a leader like Mitch Barnhart to conceive of and implement the SEC Network, the benefits of which allow us to have this wonderful athletic department that's in place today.
