There was one play where the Titan OLine double teamed a DE who was dominating… dude bullrushed BOTH OL, blew threw them and destroyed Levis on a deep drop in less than 2 seconds.

Not ideal.
...and another where the DE simply shoved the LT backwards into Levis. A mirror image of Jeremy Flax against UF last year.

Yakety Sax should be cued up for the Titans OL film review session.

I noticed Levis holding onto the ball once or twice yesterday, but it isn't a glaring issue or anything. He still has a couple of his bad tendencies, like throwing behind receivers on crossing routes and throwing into risky spots. Can't blame him for locking onto DHop too much, just like you couldn't with Wan'Dale. Overall, he has improved a TON. He looks quite a bit better against NFL competition than he did against the SEC, honestly. His biggest improvement is his touch. He basically had none here, and displays it pretty frequently now.

Would be very surprised if TN makes a big splash in FA this off-season. All indications are that winning a super bowl is not priority #1 with the Adams family ownership. They want the stadium sold out, but with minimum investment on their end. And their capital is going in on this new stadium.

Hope I’m wrong because they need a bunch of pieces around WL.

That’s just wrong.

1- No proof the owners don’t spend, as a matter of fact they have been handcuffed the past 2 seasons because they spent so much on Tannehill and Henry.

2- If you want fans in the seats of a new stadium two seasons from now then you have to generate excitement. I guess they’ll do that by not spending to make the team better with a QB in place that can carry your franchise for the next decade.

Titans should run Tanneyhill back out there to finish the string. No use getting your rookie franchise killed and acquiring unsolvable PTSD.
Screw that. Malik Willis szn, baby. Can’t risk Tannehill getting lucky and completing a few passes to DHop. Willis will command the tank.

Rudd has a hilarious (false) revisionist history of himself/sports takes.

Got roasted for saying Will takes too many sacks? Lmao, that was common sentiment even his FIRST year.

Got roasted or was first with getting on Cal, which again has been mostly common sentiment since Wisconsin 8 years ago.

What else? You get roasted for disliking the checkerboards? 🤡

With respect to Cal, pretty sure rudd WAS an early adopter on that (also positive that you, my friend, were NOT) , and DID take a lot of heat for it. Can't speak to the checkerboards or Levis though.

-nope. Alotta waterheads in were here were talking about how last years o-line was the worst evah whilst ignoring #7's issues. Maybe some were talking about the qb in a bad light...but it was few and far between.

^maybe "roasted* is a bit much... chastised maybe?

-re cal: maybe, who knows... I've been dogging him for a long time, there may be some folks that have been on his *as* long. Again, few/far between.

-I don't care about the checkerboard either way... prefer a *clean* look, but they don't/didn't particularly rustle my Jimmy, so to speak.

Cool story, bro.

I wish Izayah Cummings transferred to any where but Louisville. I wanted to root for that kid.

Lol, well you’re wrong. There was a time, amazingly, when I was listening to the voices of reason; Killa, Anth, etc talk me (and Geese) down. Proves my point.

Serious Cal (offensive) concerns even when it was going “good”, as did most of the basketballs.

Now it’s me returning the favor. Not bc of Cal, but bc of our team makeup. And 🎯

-Head count for Yum? Anyone need a potential watch partner? Can’t decide…

-Rap elders embracing Tiny Desk is one of the cooler developments on social media imo. Such a cool concept, and they’re all dope, across genres.

-Face with the latest 😍🔥. Also, Who has a stronger production/engineering/mixing discography in the Hip Hop/R&B/Pop world than Mike F Dean? A true behind-the-scenes 🐐 in music.

-this guy was bitching about the OL ad nauseum.

-for real? Is this change of heart a result of his dad coming in here and punking you or no?

multiple people have been sick in my household since middle of October - was a nasty cough, congestion, long covid, who TF knows. My 2 year old is the last one with it - he seems to be in good spirits though. Completely miserable and thankful it’s over before Christmas so I can actually enjoy a day off

Hosted a party of 20 catholic school parents at the new casa. The guest list sounded like a mafia movie cast. Was really fun and great getting to know people better. The Catholics like to throw down - good people. Might have even managed to make some new adult friends - once I take my first golf lessons this spring watch out

Have had multiple companies wanting to buy my business - had a meeting with a company a couple months ago and really like them - they are giving me their “best and final” this week, and if all looks good will be selling 60% of my business and then riding off into the sunset in 10 years. Kinda crazy/overwhelming/exciting/terrifying

August, what was the after scene like in 93? Must have been bonkers.

I know that’s not your beg now, but I also know you have some good stories/secrets.

-So far it's just the one kid. I've had a couple days of chest congestion over the last few months but nothing major. Fingers crossed. First day of school he's missed... maybe ever. Other than when he was needlessly quarantined during the covid nonsense.

-Look, I don't watch the Titans religiously. I also know Levis' limitations. However, if you watched that game Sunday he was basically out there with Moore and I don't think anyone else wanted anything to do with the game. This wasn't holding the ball too long. He was being hit before he completed a 3 step drop. The crew was blasting the OL, WRs and Henry. No reason to have a young QB, known for trying to be a hero, out there getting bent into a f*cking pretzel.

-Reeves is also opens everything up because you can't sag off him. Even on his quiet nights he has the possibility of a microwave. Fairly certain defenses are just gonna start ignoring Edwards. I would.

-Grats, mehico. PE is all over our industry. We're the only holdouts just about anywhere.

Auto service and tire industry here…owned by PE. Prob looking to sell within 3 years. Unsure on potential buyer… maybe a big boy tire store.

Don’t know if I’ll make it another 3 years to get the equity though. May hang em up before then.

The company isn’t actually PE (but it’s setup pretty much the same except a few advantages for me) but our industry is going crazy with it. Went from 3% around the time I entered it to 35% PE today. Post Covid staffing is the biggest factor as our field had the biggest job shortage in the US for a while and it’s just been a nightmare hiring/keeping/having to give raises with all the staff. It’s wild times and they are giving some pretty damn agressive offers in an effort to saturate the market. Apparently at 75% the market is considered saturated for PE and they pretty much stop their crazy offers at that point. Lots of stress trying to decide if you’re doing the right thing but this company just has a great culture and I’m sick to death of dealing with these damn women employees.

If Scrangello wasn’t your first and only complaint last year then you are lying to yourself. The OL came in around the ole miss game I believe but until then it was a whole lot more “WTF are we doing on offense”.

I think we barely scored 28 tops against the BS cupcake September schedule.

- Again when your OC is failing and can’t come off a gameplan to generate anything it makes a bad OL worse and kills morale of everyone involved. When a defense is getting to the QB in 2.3 seconds then you design screens, bubble screens, quick hitches and rollouts.

Regardless, Titans lost and remain a top 7 pick so I’m happy.

Also not sure anyone else watched but what a story for WKU. Starter sat the game out, backup QB sucked so they went with the 3rd string True FR QB from Bowling Green and he killed it for 400 yds 5 TDs and a come from behind win in OT.

Helluva a game! Caden Veltcamp who won a state title for whatever division his school was in.

What driving that?

Math.

Private equity is consolidating my business (health insurance/consulting) as well. Not a lot of independents left.

The problem I see is people selling too young. About 99% of the agents I know who sold their book of business young regretted the decision. Once you sell, it’s almost a guarantee you’ll despise working in corporate America for the man. Do it when you’re ready to retire.
